Not gonna lie man you made me want one!! Lots of simple fun!! Great video as always! Your positivity is so awesome!!
Looks like a great little basher. You’re a kind man to open the drains! 🫡
@@disciplinercget a skateboard to open the drains so you don't have squishy shoes.
This looks alot faster here than when i saw it on other channels. Maybe because it's fueled by happiness lol. Kinda want one now. Def like this more than the metal chassis
YES!! I think you're right 👍 I'm going to really send it and see how this chassis holds up 😁
I have one of these for myself, and I'm quite satisfied with it after 6 packs! For the price, you can't really go wrong with it 👌
Is this 12th scale? Yes i agree 100%...hobby grade car is the way to go..this car is great deal for sure..
Standing in wet shoes cleaning out drains with a Santa hat on in November 😂 👍🏻👍🏻
I always insist on going straight to 4S brushless for the little 'uns...baptism of fire
A very nice buggy I see.... and nice editing.
Good job
Every new video, better editing and quality.
Definitely agree with you on the budget RCs 😎
It goes really well 💪🏼
Go on you cleaning up 🙏
Another great video & review. Thanks man! I think everyone should get a hobby grade RC for Christmas , even me!
Do it!! I like fixing as much as driving. Good to keep busy and keep learning on rainy days 👌
i love it when they put these big 550 motor on them, they are very quiet and they have good low RPM torque so you CAN drive your car at lower speed and have good control.
An excellent fun video. I am tempted to buy one of these now....
Keep up with your excellent content. 👏🏻👏🏻
Not bad for the price at all. Easily upgradeable and get parts if you drive as crap as I do 😅👍
It's 12th scale too. So every inch it is off the ground is like being a foot off the ground in a full size version of it
I did think that was snow in the beginning. Good to see you in the Santa hat.
Great video. Love the two locations. The echoes in the parking lot were awesome. I wasn’t going to get one since I have the old versions but I do like a good rc deal. Those thicker dog bones look good. Maybe on Black Friday
Yeah, can't wait to see what deal will be had. I'll post what I find as soon as I see anything awesome 👍
Yep, this is a wicked good deal for sure!
And you said it best, a car like this will keep a kid interested and allow them to work on it as well . I would be happy receiving this under the tree! And you would be happy with a new pair of dry converse sneakers. Q: how do you get a car free parking garage to play in? Curious minds want to know…😝😂
Sweet video !
Thank you for this video! I was looking for something for my son that wouldn't break in a day and this is exactly the type of information I needed -- a beginner RC that can also be upgraded in case of hard kid use. I hope you get a ton of affiliate links because this is super valuable information.
That's really kind of you to say dude. Glad I could be of service. He's gonna love it and more so, the time you spend with him doing something together. Good job Dad!! 👏👏
Wltoys has had their hits and misses 😮
Yep, the new 1/18 coming looks to be a smaller plastic chassis too. I'll have to kick it's but and see how it does too 😅
Ive been sub scrubbed for a min now but if i wasnt id do it you drain clearin son of an rc haha love your vids broseph!!
Thank you so much buddy I ordered already 1 to Vancouver 115 thanks to your Coupon discount and will pay 4 instalments of 28.79 CAD BiWeekly isn’t awesome?
I would love to get something like this for my son but, he just turned 3. He uses a store grade toy ($25) and doesn't quite understand fully his hand/eye coordination yet, however he loves it. Surprised he makes it around the house too, crashing and bumping into things. I think these ones are a bit fast for him and have been looking at some small crawlers. Wish WL Toy's would make a crawler, that would be perfect for him. Something slow so he can use it indoors and crawl over his other toys. Maybe I'm jumping the gun here based on his age but, he's proven he understands. I control the throttle on my Arrma Outcast EXB and he steers it, he loves that.
There is a throttle dial, you can turn it right down to a crawl. They do make a 1/24 crawler that's a good price. Check it out on my channel - WLToys 2428
Hey man I feel ya! I got twin 3 year old boys I have gotten them 2 each they both have a rlaarlo 1/18 monster trucks, they're a little too fast for them but they're growing into them nicely, I also have them little 1/18 scale crawlers 1 is a panda hobby x2t and the other is the easyrc fj cruiser and they enjoy those more than their monster trucks I think bc they're slow and they can actually control them and I have a few little courses set up and they do really well just encourage them and theyll find their way I hope this helps ya buddy I love seeing dads and kids playing with rcs together it just warms my big soft heart. Have a good one buddy!!
Arrma just came out with a Granite Grom 1/18th scale monster trucks. Great for Indoor and out. Also has a limiter switch.
@@jameswisecarver Hey, thanks for the tip on some crawlers, I'll check those out. I too love seeing my boy play around. So curious and cute.
I have a divided heart with WLTOYS, on the one hand they are very cheap for what they offer, but I have had bad experiences, for example, the. 12429 which is nice sice for a 1/12 scale, very good model but with very very little use the motor burned out and then the servo, on the other hand I bought the 124016 V2 which is too small to be a 1/12, it is very fast, quite hard (although it does not withstand an impact at 60km/h, ask me why) 😂
Finally, the brushed motor models come with brand connections so it is difficult to update (i.e., you have to change everything, motor, servo receiver etc)
I kind of. Was hoping they would still sell the aluminum chassis version
You can still get them, but this new design is a great way to keep costs down
@@disciplinerc true the plastic chassis does take the abuse better? Especially for a first timer
@@masjuggalo Yes it will, watch the colder temps though. Cold plastic = Higher chance to snap
do you think this is better than a brushless MJX M162 ?
I used your 11% code for a MJX 14209, looks like a great first RC car, for all around fun with the kid and his MJX M163
The MJX Brushless cars are top notch, this is a good starter, but the MJX is way better 👍
I have the 124008, brushless version of this RC, and it slaps the chassis when landing.and the gear noise..urgh.. the mesh is too tight and the only way to fix it is to damage the mount or made one yourself
Interesting about the mesh. I'll have to check this one, but it felt pretty good 👍
DUDE what do the tattoo lines on your hands mean ?
@@disciplinerc ah lovely I'll make a cuppa tea and you can tell me all about it 😉
On a 2nd note...wltoys really needs to hire someone to better name their rcs. The number names is tedious.
@@disciplinerc dude. Do it. Start with The Destroyer.... or the ONYX.... or go old school TYCO RC names like THE ELIMINATOR
And it’s still junk no matter what you do to it
To each their own I spose. So people don't have the funds to get supreme quality, and I think this is a great entry level if you want to get into or someone else into the hobby 👍
The world would be a better place if everyone was as happy as you 😅
That’s no joke. I love this guy
Totally agree 😂😂😂
It's nice to let loose playing with toys 😂
