    Been watching Inoue for a while and he’s definitely a generational talent. What surprised/impressed me the most about this fight wasn’t the knockdown, it wasn’t the stoppage, but the entirety of Round 1. He came out super comfortable. Within the first 2 minutes he already ascertained his distance/range between him and Fulton. To then begin to jab, put his shots together, make the necessary slight movements to get out, roll, set up counters, cut off the ring, etc. That set the tone for the entire match. His analysis within that first round and the entire fight needs to be studied. It’s just something’s you can’t teach no matter how good a fighter is. Naoya Inoue is a beast fr

      I so agree. Of course dominant KO's are awesome. BUT. I've come to realize that i SUPER APPRECIATE seeing High level abilities across rounds, in diverse ways, showing they are capable of cardio endurance output stamina that can withstand power output and high output across rounds, with crazy footwork movement, etc. I don't know how to say it but i agree with your comment.

      Of course it can be taught. He's been taught by his father since birth who's also amateur boxer. Inoeu is THE textbook boxer along with his physical abilities which can't be taught but that's part of the game

      @@benmcreynolds8581Absolutely, KO’s are always great to see. But seeing a fighter’s just flow, show their deep understanding of the game, and put what they know to use in the ring is always spectacular to see. As both a coach, a fighter, and fan of combat sports it’s wonderful to watch

    • @EGKlarify
      @EGKlarify 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@ex0duzz I’m sorry if I’m providing any misunderstandings so I’ll try to explain myself better. Stating the obvious yes, it can be taught. His father has done a phenomenal job. But what I mean by can’t be taught is just levels of understanding what to do, executing it, making the necessary adjustments, etc. Inoue is so fundamentally sound with his speed, power, accuracy, IQ and athleticism to match. His knowledge of what to do, when to do it, and how to do it is spectacular.
      That’s what I mean. You can’t necessarily teach that level of understanding, especially in a high paced fight. It’s all comes down to the person and how much visual information they can retain. It’s clear Inoue can retain MUCH more than the average world class boxer. He’s a complete fighter and has distinguished himself with that as apart of his style (aside from his power of course) making him a beast and def Number 1 P4P in my opinion

    1. do NOT disrespect inoue by saying he's now getting included on top pfp lists. he's been top 3 for the last 3/4 years now. 2. after that performance he is undisputed #1 pfp right now, not behind anyone. whoever wins this weekend between bud and errol will be #2. 3. don't be mistaken wade. fulton did not give inoue an opportunity it was the opposite. idk what you mean when you say "inoue jumped the queue". please do more research when talking about traditional boxing, naoya is a generational talent with star power and has been on top of the game since 2019 and has worked his way here. he was the one who was giving fulton a chance to make a name for himself and inoue took a risk by moving up and going straight for the champ. on paper, fulton has all the advantages so please don't act like inoue is some "nobody".

      The American way of discrediting boxers is pretty known.
      SouthEast Asia & Korea/Japan region along with Mexicans dominate the lower weight divisions.
      While Europeans, West Asians & Central Asians dominate the higher weight classes (LHW, CW, HW)

    Inoues ability to process his distance from Fulton and then using his speed to land punches within that distance IMO is what makes Inoue so special. From what I watched Inoue was able to process this information within the first round and apply it right away. Fulton was the bigger boxer with the longer reach and you couldn't tell by the way Inoue was able to control this fight. Fulton may be great or even elite but Inoue is legendary.

    • @kevinmoy3752
      @kevinmoy3752 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This is exactly it. It wasn't his power, but his speed that won this match. His step in was so much faster than fulton's, that he was able to find a pocket where he knew fulton couldn't reach him, and still be in range. You can even see him lower his guard, that's how confident he was in reading fulton's range.

    Naoya Inoue is not angry, as some say, just focused like John Wick.
    For many of The Monster's opponents, it's all fun and games. They're sure they know his game plan, his tactics, speed, power, accuracy, offense and defense that are reminiscent of a glitch in the matrix...and how to counter all of it...but Inoue doesn't seem to have gotten the memo...
    Then, one by one, Inoue's opponents are led to the slaughter, fed to The Monster, sacrificed to the ring gods, as it were...
    Just ask Stephen Fulton...Inoue vacated his 4 belts, moved UP to 122, and said "Bring me your best, your strongest warrior"...

      Inoue going to get to light weight in a bit but will see then who he fights honestly it could happen cause Davis does like to fight smaller world champion fighters like Leo Santa Cruz so I think he’ll take it just thinkin he would bully Inoue like he did w Santa Cruz but I don’t think it as simple cause the Inoue jabs double jabs combination placed so perfectly good fight tho

      @@itstroy4145 don’t know how much stock I’d put into that comment. Us, Asians, like to mask our arrogance with humility and get OTHERS to say what we CANT say about ourselves.
      Like if we want to boast we NEVER just boast about the outcome. We want to show humility and let others mention what they see in us and bring up how much work we put in.
      A more western response would be something like “I worked hard 7 days a week with my trainer, nutritionist, and my doctor to get my body into peak condition for this fight. I pushed my body to the limit knowing my opponent isn’t working as hard as me.”
      But a more Asian response would be like “I don’t know how much more I can do to prepare myself for this fight.” or something like that. Then that would in turn incite us to talk about what we see when he trains and we see a MF monster lol. So we have to say it for him.
      So when Inoue is saying “I’m already pushing the limit of my frame” he’s really just trying to find a humble way of saying “I woke up like this, my body is in peak condition for this weight class and I’m ready to fight” and that’s what he wants US to say about HIM.
      Being too boastful about your own work ethic and gassing yourself up is a big no no in eastern culture. We basically have to show humility and weakness at all times.
      We are expected to go out there, put in the work, make it look easy, then in the end talk about how we didn’t know we had it in us to do what we just did and make it look easy LOL.

    I totally agree about losing fights in boxing. It needs to be like how it used to be in boxing a loss meant very little what mattered was your skill in the ring. Look at the Cinderella Man James Braddock, he lost 25 times and was still given a shot at the heavyweight title and beat the legend Max Bear, who keep in mind had recently k illed a man in the ring and in his previous fight before Braddock knocked out 6ft 6 85 inch reach (same reach as Tyson Fury) 263lb all muscle Primo Canera. But 194lb Braddock came in with a brilliant strategy and beat Max Bear with a 15 round UD.

    The idea that he fights Tank is utterly stupid, Tank is a fully fledged 135er now whos had weight issues prior. Just because they're both 5"5 (Tank is a small LW) doesnt mean it should happen, 126 should be the highest he goes. People really dont understand the weight classes. Not to mention Tank has done fuck all in the sport compared to Inoue casuals just dont pay attention to the lower weights (aka the best weight classes).
