I am working with vb.net 2012 application which calls crystal report.
I am using microsoft access .mdb file to connect to crystal report in order to get the data from database.
The problem is when i deploy the application in different comp which store the .mdb file in same location from where the application runs. The error that occur is Logon failed or asks for log in through server which is not possible. But when I run it from my pc it works well. May i know how to overcome this problem?

Good video sir...But i want to ask ...if this setup is deployed or installed on two other client computers in an intranet network, how will those two client computers connect to the server database ? Can they select the server database from this created installer ?

I have deployed it on windows 2008 r2, and its working fine untill I try to insert records in database... "operation must use and updatable query" unable to find "Application packages", so for unable to set rights on database and as a result error is occuring.

hi air cessna, i had the same problem and probably others that will pass by here have the same. Every program installed on program files will be read only for the system protection. All you need to do is change the diretory of your application clicking on your installation project > Application folder, go to the properties and find one labeled defaut location and change it i put mine as "C:\[Manufacturer]\[ProductName]" so the program will install in the root file c:// and everything will work fine.

Please open app.config file in the Solution Explorer

Sir how you fix high DPI problem in visual studio . my screen 1920 X 1080 so when i create project in vs2015 or 2017 it shows blurry so please help me and your video is very good.
Maybe you need to change scaling settings.
For Windows 10 :
Right click on desktop select 'Display Settings'
Then choose the value from the ComboBox e.g. 175% or use advanced scaling settings.

i tried this but error msg appear when i try to login ID "unhandled exception has occurred in your application If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error rand attempt to continue. If you click quite, the application will close immediately

Great Video but you are making a sadly pretty common mistake . Never use your development Operating System to test a deployed app. Here is why... if you try tu delpoy this exact proyect to a regular machine you will see an error appearing telling you the Crytal Report engine is not present. People ....thats why we need to test delpyment in CLEAN Virtual Machines (i mean no develpmente environment installed there) other wise shit can happen. Thanks a lot anyway , Great Video BTW!!!
