I was astounded that he even won a match. As a fellow Zangief main, I was rooting for him, but I knew there was no way in hell he was going win a tournament this stacked, with so much money on the line, using Zangief. But I am impressed that he still stuck with Zangief anyway.

Gief getting a buff in the next patch so he won't quit. Beaten one DJ while Fuudo and Xian are already great players with DJ. He almost qualified to Losers bracket. So far, I was happy with him going 3-2 at the end of Group Set.

@@kenji444 snake eyez is simply just a better player over all. Or there nerves got the best of them. Any one would be nervous fighting someone like snake who’s god like with a bottom tier even punk said that.

This isn't you, but for people universally to say Zangief had zero chance of winning Capcom Cup X and in the same breath say SF6 is balanced enough and Gief doesn't need anymore buffs simply baffles my mind! It's madness.
