  • "Rob Shumsky adds: at point 12:00 and 20:00 in the video, I wrote that the lead times were 30 seconds and 45 seconds for the "Everyone 6" and "Birth Month" experiments, respectively. This was incorrect. The lead time for the "Everyone 6" experiment was approximately 2 minutes, while the lead time for "Birth Month" was about 4.25 minutes. This can be calculated via Little's Law: Avg. lead time = (avg. WIP)/(avg. Throughput). In any case, adding variability to the system dramatically increased lead time, as we expected."
