In Rebel Without A Cause, Sal Mineo, James Dean, and Natalie Wood did a scene involving a drained swimming pool in a Mansion that was soon to be demolished. This was the mansion used in the film Sunset Boulevard, and the pool was used for the floating body of William Holden shot by Norma Desmond. Plato, Mineo's character was tragically shot by the police. Mineo, Dean and Wood all died tragic deaths

True I’ve lived here my whole life and so has my dad, and I once told him this story I saw Tim heidecker tell about when he got stabbed (in LA) by his neighbors son on drugs who normally was a nice guy. Then my dad told me a story about a similar thing happening to him where his roommates girlfriends brother or something like that was chasing him with a kitchen knife and chased him out the window onto a little balcony thing and somehow him and the other people there managed to stop him and get the knife. But it’s insane how you can practically throw a rock in LA and hit somehow who either has or knows somebody who has a story like this. Not even to mention the ones who don’t have a story because they die like the people here haha

No, he found a child support check, un-cashed for almost $700.00 for his care I think, (which was a lot of money back then. Like $7,000 today I can believe), from the drawer. That is a segment of the movie I don't understand as he crumbled it up and threw it on the floor. He then found his mothers gun under the pillows and sheets of the bed he was sitting on. I just bought the Blu-Ray. $27.00 Wheew. Maybe that $70.00 check is worth more than American Nostalgia today?

The Lil' Bastard went missing after being bought by a friend of his. Any of the parts taken from the wreck caused trouble

My favorite place in all of LA, first went there in High school specifically because of Rebel. I'm surprised how not crowded it is in the video!

Love the Grimm Life Collective videos... Often wonder if the people that live in these places now realize what happened right there in their car port and driveway? Anyone else ever think of that?

Since they didn't rob him it probably had more to do with him being gay at a time when hate crimes were still prevalent.
