If my parent died in December 2024 and I inherit an IRA from them but I do get it until 2025, when does the 10 year rule end 2034 or 2035?

The timeline is to technically pull all the money out by December 31st of the year that marks the 10th anniversary. Thus, in your case, it would be December 31, 2034, even if you didn't gain access until sometime in 2025.
