  • This is a full stateroom tour of a Category 9D Deluxe Oceanview stateroom with 2 portholes on the Disney Wonder. This is stateroom number 1038. This category can sleep up to 4 guests, and has a little more space than the Inside staterooms. This category also has 2 small portholes, but all the other Category 9A-9C Oceanview rooms have 1 larger porthole.

Definitely nice how much storage there seems to be in that room! I definitely do think that any more than even two people would seem cramped, especially with the second bed pulled out.

It would be nice to see one of the overhead bunks pulled down in one of the tours if possible 😀

We can’t pull them down. It takes a special key that the host(ess) uses when they clean the room. Otherwise we would 😊

Hi there ! Did you experience much noise being deck one like creaking etc ?
Great video - really well done 😊🙌🏼

No we didn’t, but we also stayed in this room on an Alaskan cruise, so we were never in open ocean water. We’ve had friends stay on this deck and hated it, so it really depends on the sailing and the person.

You’re getting me so excited for my cruise in a few weeks! We’re also in an ocean view room with two port holes.
I’m hoping to do some vlogging on the cruise and actually just recently bought the DJI OM5, which it looks like you’ve got too! Now I’m trying to figure out what mic to get and it looks like you’ve got a pretty good setup. The sound quality is great.

Thanks! We actually use the OM4 (the 5 isn't technically allowed in WDW because it extends). The mic is a Rode VideoMicro (affiliate link): www.amazon.com/dp/B015R0IQGW/ref=cm_sw_r_api_i_HRM0JJMTW1FPSYB85RV1_0#?&_encoding=UTF8&tag=herewiththeea-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=258e796014afae2ac7a42a061f4ddeab&camp=1789&creative=9325
You'll need to make sure you have a different cord to go into your phone (at least for iPhone) and also a lightning adapter. This is the cord we use (affiliate link): www.amazon.com/Rode-SC7-3-5mm-Patch-Cable/dp/B00L6C8T22/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=2A2ADMPIJ8WA&keywords=rode+trrs+cable&qid=1656976479&sprefix=rode+ttrs+cable%252Caps%252C144&sr=8-3&_encoding=UTF8&tag=herewiththeea-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=1ac1e9d99efd58fc46a765a10075c64a&camp=1789&creative=9325
We mount the mic using this piece (affiliate link): www.amazon.com/ULANZI-PT-3-Aluminium-Smartphone-Microphone/dp/B08G57LWFX?&_encoding=UTF8&tag=herewiththeea-20&linkCode=ur2&linkId=fbf7225b759602b88d719de0f8db8ae6&camp=1789&creative=9325
Enjoy your cruise and good luck!

@@HereWithTheEars that's a good point about the OM5! I just got it a few days ago and it has a serious learning curve. lol
      Thanks for sharing these links!

I think I could deal with a room like that (while I'd like a verandah, it's a good way to save some $$$). Did they still have a Bible in the drawers? I'm finding more and more places that don't. :(

I don’t think so. The portholes were really nice to have and did cost less than a veranda. We would have loved a verandah but just didn’t want to spend the extra this time 😊

Any pics of the drop down bed?

We aren’t able to share photos on TH-cam, so your best bet would be to Google it to find photos of the drop down bed

Do they provide towels and wash clothes?

I dont like these port holes. Why not make it 1 large hole?
