After the show outside the theater as the cast was doing autographs, I shouted out to him "Hey Neil, I happen to know a really good surgeon if you need a recommendation!" He actually hugged me and said "Congratulations" to me.
I remember choosing not to see Hedwig on Broadway... I had seen it about ten times on Jane Street, and that was what I wanted to remember. It was a great production, particularly with JCM as Hedwig.
The poor interviewer...he was drenched. LOL Reminded me of the guy who interviewed Keith on guitars. Check NPH nails. But I love the hole notion that NPH talks about: if only this one little instance in life had been different, then everything else...

The joke is that John Cameron Mitchell was in The Secret Garden in the early 90s, and Neil is saying that he 'grew up' listening to that. Hence pointing out the 'older' age of John who is infact 51.
