When I first started to make wax seals I got a kit from Aliexpress and it had a bunch of those flat seals. I don't use any of them. How do you clean the soot off of the bottom of your spoons?
@@brendakuder2957 Clean the spoon. For black spoons, you can use the pulling method. For gold spoons, you can use a silicone brush. If there is residual wax on it, reheat the spoon and wipe it with toilet paper The bottom is burnt black, you can use toilet paper to wipe it
I understand, because I am some distance away from the candle and the bottom is not burned directly by the fire, so it is clean. Even if there is a little bit, I can wipe it off with toilet paper.
@@wonderful_world58 Thank you. I think I need to cut the wick on my candle shorter. I am using a large size tea candle because things melt much quicker.

@@wonderful_world58 What I was asking is how do you get the candle soot off of the bottom of the spoon. I know you can use baking soda.
