Cause we all know Darren as a one handed bowler. Simo, Belmo, and most of the other 2 handers have all been doing it since they first picked up the ball. Darren shows us that you can pick it up anytime.
@@apathetictaco6944 no, darren does not "show us you can pick it up anytime" it shows 1) how talented darren is, being able to learn a whole new approach this far in. and 2) how differently you play the game with 2 hands vs 1. 2 handed isnt any easier than 1 handed and 1 handed isnt any easier than 2 handed, its just a different approach
I’ve been bowling for 22 years and switched to two handed a month in a half ago. And I have more of a love for the game now because it’s so much more challenging and fun and watching Darren has made me have so much more fun bowling two handed. Looking to get my TH-cam channel going here soon . Plus I don’t have thumb issues anymore like I’ve had for years

love how Darren pulled that comment out of the chat and called it out, Making the switch isnt just a given that all games will be the same i made the switch to 2 hands and also changed sides within 6 months and all the muscle memory timing and all that stuff makes it bloody hard so as along you are learning each game and not making the same mistakes all the time then its a positive day

I like the constructive feedback for Lance, that he didn't seem committed. I have gone through stretches where I didn't trust the process, and scored all over the place. I noticed I would short-arm my follow through, and once I brought it back the ball would do what it should.
Darren says he felt like he bowled ok🤣 listening to him it sounded like almost every frame was a mistake but they ended up striking. I think that Ion pro saved ya quite a bit😉
47 years old, been 2-handed 3yrs now and it took tons of strain off wrist, knee, hip... Took some time to get my 200+ avg back since the switch but I surpassed my old avg by 5 pins now.
Daren, don't know how often you read comments, but I have never seen you do any tutorial on getting proper thumb fit. I feel that if it's too tight, I'm going to end up out on the lane trying to get it off my hand. I feel like I get it too loose and end up gripping it so hard so I don't lose it on the swing. Can you tell us about proper thumb fit?
So the games that I got yesterday for 4 games in my league was a 234, the same thing Lance got in second game. Then a 172, a 170, then a 206. Lmao. The lanes changed big time for me. 😂😂

Lance's ball almost never looks like it's driving through the pins, it's always exiting the deck at the 9 pin, but he only throws pearl balls. Is there a reason he isn't using something stronger?
I will never be a PBA bowler. Therefore I have zero desire for a ball that is ‘automatic’. I want to get better at this, ya know? I don’t want to get up there, get a high score, and have to say the ball did all the work.
U know y ur thumb hold get tight it cuse of the weather inside the bowling alley or ur home when that happens everything get so stick and tight were u have to open up the hold a lil and also ur thumb can also Swell up to happend to me
Lance definitely got slower in the third game . But I watch him a lot . We use the same line and similar break point . I might mess around 2 hand but being 6’5” 250 you have get down low lol

Picked up the Ion Pro yesterday. I am going to be using it a lot. It was much stronger than I thought it would be.
That's why I want Brad and Kyle to come to Jonesboro!!! I watched a video about keeping a foot down that lead me to a 779 SCRATCH!

I'm going to suggest you either have the wrong layout or you're using it at the wrong time. Not one pro has had anything negative to say about it.
I personally don’t like the shape of the ion pro so far. Whether it be on a house shot or a sport.
Rather just throw a RG TDx or a urethane ball down 2 arrow
