    I did a destructive test on the jacket of a cable.I obtained three pieces obtained from the same cable and treated them as three different parts. Three operators plucked three specimens each from each part and tested for peroxide levels. after running a crossed gage R and R, number of distinct categories was 1. Reproducibility was 80% and repeatability was 45%. Is my experiment flawed. Can ,make any solid conclusions from the study? or my approach is wrong?

    Hey Paul. I bought the original version in ebook style. This one with Minitab is also available in ebook style? Thanks.

    Thanks for the video, here is a little more I can add to help;
    -Use pairs of samples that are as alike as possible
    -Measurements of such pairs are treated as duplicate measurements of the same thing
    -Use the ranges of the pairs of measurements and place them on a Range Chart
    -Any Range falling above the Upper Range Limit indicates a possible difference between the paired samples
    -Since we want to estimate measurement error, delete any ranges from above the upper Range limit such that the computation of measurement error is not influenced
    -Compute the measurement error standard deviation from the Average Range
    -Use this Range chart to check for ongoing consistency of the measurement process
    Hope this helps
