Were you able to get the pumps to continue working for a while after? I successfully repaired using this tutorial but the short pin snapped again a day later-it’s hard to get it perfectly lined up and I think it rubs against the mechanism. If so, any tricks?
Yes, she’s been pumping with them ever since with no issues. I know what you mean about getting them aligned properly, that’s prolly the most critical part about the fix. If they’re not aligned almost perfectly you will run into issues. Also making sure no superglue gets in the pin diameter which could cause binding as well. Unfortunately I dont have any super helpful tips for that. Only think I can think is if you have enough length on the pin, grinding the broken end down flat so you get a smooth flat surface to glue to, hopefully helping to keep the pin straight.
We got ours off of Facebook marketplace. I think the lady sold all three for like 25 bucks or something like that. I wish since this is a common issue that you could just buy replacement parts from Willow.
@Gin P, my wife had the same issue with one of the tabs on her right pump constantly cracking. She ultimately bought a new set, so she now has an extra left (functional) and right (re-glued) Gen 3 pair she is willing to part with. Would you pay $80 for the pair and a charger?
I’m not sure exactly which part you’re talking about. If you mean the cover then yes that should just snap back in place. No wires connect to the cover. Here is the second half of the video if it help. Let me know if you have any questions! Hope it helps! th-cam.com/video/qNm__YcvDJ4/w-d-xo.html

Where did you buy the used ones? I fixed the crack but it happened again. Was thinking about getting once and taking the piece from it

Do you just snap it back into place after?
