- I was waiting in front of the Library to go in and make a video. Remembering how much everyone enjoys the close up purse rummage at the beginning of my shopping video's, I figured I might as well do a full one. All my recording equipment was with me so.....
Well, by the time I finished my purse rummage, the library had gotten so busy that I never went in. Too much noise. (Our library is not quiet) I guess that video will have to wait until next week. LOL.
The sounds we will hear are: Zippers, keys, coins, receipts, crinkling paper, crinkling plastic, little plastic bottles, glasses, spray cleaner, card stock....etc, etc. Oh, and my soft spoken voice.

people who say things like “ you're negative in your videos ” are one hundred percent of the time just mad at something you haven't done at all but rather projecting inner turmoil onto you. you're the calmest woman I've ever experienced in my twenty one years of life. not many people have the wit and will to speak or have fulfilling conversations. I think you exhibit perfectly good dialogue each and every time. I want to hear about the things that most people think are small. I love when you open mail, or read the newspaper or just go through your purse. those things to me, are gold. you impact so many people in a postive way that those comments that are actually negative should just drift into nothing. if you ever see someone causing trouble, or being rude. just ignore it, be that as it may, it's easier said than done but you truly are a gift. you went through a lot and now you're giving to those who are going through life about to hit hard patches or already managing highly stressful situations.

You transported me back to going anywhere with my mama. She passed quite a few years ago and I miss her dearly. She always had a little bit of everything you could possibly need in her purse. She would rummage through to find a pen, gum, tylenol, her pocket calendar, coupons, chapstick, a compact mirror, a cough drop, checkbook, kleenexs, snacks in a sandwich bag...you name it. All the most wonderful sounds of paper, plastic, leather, coins, rubber bands (and coin purse), zipper/snaps, and tons of other amazing sounds would be made during the rummage. I realized a few years ago this was a good ASMR trigger for me when coworkers would dig in their bags or purses for something...this was before I even knew ASMR was a thing! Thanks for the nostalgic sounds. ❤

I take care of my grand daughter. She has always gotten her nights and days so screwed up so bad where I don't even get to sleep anymore at nights until she falls asleep. Its been maybe two weeks that I have played your video's so she can at least relax and to my surprise your soft voice and your shopping videos has helped some. I played this video twice cause she threw a little fit that it was over hahaha so I had to play it twice last night. I have played some of your videos over cause she already has her favorite video's. It has been a huge struggle for me to rock her to sleep and also singing to her. But she sure is so relaxed that she falls asleep. Thank you for what you do. ❤ you are a blessing! When my niece was a few weeks over she slept with me in my room.. she always throws a fit when she needs to go to sleep. We watched your videos before she needed to go to bed and she was gone in minutes and she wanted to watch your videos every night (I was in shock that it helped her relax).. at that moment (and still now) I’m grateful for your videos Rebecca!

I'm fairly new to it, so have probably only watched 4-5 videos, but I'm perplexed that someone would call you negative. I find your videos to be warm, heartfelt and relaxing. I can't help but think that the individual's critical comment was more of a reflection of his/her nature than of yours. Thank you for your hard work and effort putting together these videos. ASMR has been so helpful to me because I have a hard time turning my brain off and relaxing at the end if the day, so I'm grateful for you and other artists who take the time to do this. Voices are not a trigger for me either. You know I only do it for the people who began to ask me and told me voices were triggers for them. It was really uncomfortable for me at first. But now I enjoy making them. I have even fallen asleep during editing some of my vocal videos. 😂😂 So shocked!
Anyway, I love to know that people are listening to my soft spoken or whispered videos just to hear the talking or the commentary because I love the friendship aspect of this channel. I enjoy purse rummaging or rummaging of any kind in any type of bag/box/container. This was a fun video and whether or not you meant it to be "spontaneous" while waiting for the library to open, you made it seem so.👌As a side note, do you find yourself more and more having to say/post disclaimers about things you say or do in videos? I'm reading/hearing that a lot lately from other creators I enjoy. I've always come from the philosophy that negative feelings are subjective. What I may find "negative" may be no big deal for someone else. Even if a content creator, such as yourself, were to say or do something in a video that struck me as "odd" or "negative," I would first stop and reflect on WHY I felt that way and move on. When I post a comment, my objective is to add value to the feed and give constructive feedback to the creator (after first saying hi and thank you, of course!). It's ASMR so let it be just that. Take it at face value because we are not all built the same. ☺😘☺
Samantha 🙋🏻♀️ It’s rather difficult to navigate these waters of TH-cam sensibilities. No such thing as etiquette for the audience, but creators have no liberty without major consequence. There are only a few things I will remain resolute and apologetic about. The rest of it is minor. I delete quite a few comments due to rudeness and unkindness. But recently I got a comment that was vehemently angry about how negative I am all the time. Every now and then a critical comment will hit a nerve and I have to wonder if there might be a grain of truth in it. So I became conscious of it. I talk about it in another video that has a rather serious tone. But now I am over it. My personality is rather difficult to change and so, “like me or leave me”, I guess. And she did…leave me. That’s how it goes.
