She refused to play for more than 1 year because of lack of motivation. And she's barely 30. I'd say she still had the skill to win some titles out there...
@@ZireMapu Tennis at the highest level is tough to maintain for a long period of time. She won two slams which is a great achievement. Now, she wants to live a normal life. Nothing wrong with that.
Yes but for the last 2 years when she was 28,29 which is an athlete's prime she was taking alot of losses. Players were getting the jump on her offensively and her lateral quickness was getting exposed. She's making the right move. Muguruza was a total class act who will be inducted into the hall of fame.
Good afternoon the announcement was not a shock to tennis fans. Her form had dipped and she had taken a long break from tennis. I would congratulate her for not staying around too long and embarrassing herself like Venus Williams. All the best Miss Muguruza.
Sometimes, when you lose interest doing something you used to enjoy, it signals for a change and Muguruza is looking forward to a new chapter in her life. Let her be. Look at her! She must be happy, she even gained weight!
Over the long haul her quickness was getting exposed and for that reason she was taking too many losses. Watch tape of her in the last few years. Girls were getting the jump on her offensively she was having trouble keeping up. That being said she did a great job representing tennis and herself with class.
Well presented, nice video. Cheers!
Thank you! Cheers!
There was no fall. It is hard to stay at the top forever. She won two slams, that is a major accomplishment.

Nive video well done👍💪
Thank you 🙌
Great player, won against Williams sisters in Slam finals. Well done Muguruza👍
Remember her, great forehand and powerful hitting💪👍
Rybakina was a bit like Muguruza in terms of play style. The Spaniard could still play for while though...
That's quite an achievement, unmatchable even...
Same power moves as Serena, that's something, but consistency was not her main strenght, unfortunately
She was a powerhouse, indeed. Thanks for the comment!

Thumbs up for Muguruza and her career, too bad her motivation did not match her true physical skills and talent. Still, well done by her!
It's a matter of consistency, and yes, motivation as well.
