5-type [SystemSettings] and under it add commands you want to use.
-foliage.LODDistanceScale=2 (mitigates LOD pop-in with less performance impact compared to Very High Foliage Quality)
-r.SceneColorFringeQuality=0,r.Tonemapper.GrainQuantization=0 and r.Tonemapper.Quality=3 (disables Film Grain and Chromatic Aberration for cleaner image)
-r.DepthOfFieldQuality=0 (Disables Depth Of Field)
-r.AntialiasingMethod=1 (Replaces TAA with FXAA, 0 disables AA completely).
-r.fog=0 (Disables the fog effect).
[Optimized Settings] :
-View Distance : High or Very High.
-Foliage Quality : High or High (or use foliage.LODDistanceScale=2 to mitigate LOD Pop-in).
-Effects Quality : Medium.
-Shadows Quality : Medium.
-Post Processing : Medium (tweak Engine.ini file to disable effects like Film Grain,Chromatic and Depth Of Field).
-Anti Aliasing : Very High
-HDD compatibility mode : If you’re using an HDD keep it on. However, if possible, install the game on an SSD.

Btw, now that fortnite has recently launched a new season, any chance you could make a video about it? Its epic settings make it look gorgeous, but some of them are very heavy on the GPU while others not so much.

UI is based on base-fps, every game with FG is working like this
i play on a rtx 3060 ti same as you but have ryzen 3600 and game at 1440p max settings on average would run in the 45-50 range sometimes would hit 60 in less intensive areas and with dlss quality i get to 60-65 also i would sometimes be CPU bound (which is normal for my cpu i know ) but with the FG mod now i have been playing safely on max settings 1440p dlss quality and FG running smootly i think the lowest i've seen is like 85 fps and on average i am between 90-110 fps (also the coolest thing about FG is it removes all CPU boundness) anyways i love your vids and first thing i do when i start a new game is check if you have a optimazed setting for it cheers .

I hate people saying shit about DF here.
Their channel was never about benckmarking, it was always about talking about techinical stuff, graphics technology and perfomance analysis. And they go in depth on those.
Alex that came up with recommended settings, and this was many years in DF existance.
They can't cover every game, no one can, not with the level of detail that everybody wants at least.
They don't have many videos releases actually, and I also wish they realeased more stuff, analysed more games, but they are still pretty good at what they do.
That being said. I'm really glad with the work BenchmarKing have been putting. It is not easy to bench and also edit all this stuff. And is very helpful.
We surely need more of this. We are in bad times for PC ports, even the good ones can been too demanding.
If you miss stuff from DF bc you thought that it was "their work", be glad that you could look elsewhere and find good content as you can see in here.

Idk what to do, but with this settings in engine.ini foliage are flickering a lot in full hd, maybe in 2k it looks better, but doesnt work in full hd.

@@stefanvoiculescu I think you should leave it that way. I already tried it. It will work on what foliage setting you set. foliage.LODDistancesScale will overwrites it automatically.

This game really suffers from fps drops as its main reason it that it demands for cpu is really high. Evan at 5600x it uses 50+% which at that state is beyond the smooth performance and has a higher chance of fps drops and stuttering

Fog and ambient occlusion on low it looks still OK and you gain a lot. I wouldn't recommend the "high res" texture packet. It has no benefits and tanks performance
This game has bad 0.1%s ... I was wondering if its my PC but it seems like its just UE5. I hope Devs dont go this route in the future, even tho rocks look great in UE5, I dont want rocky games anymore.
