Tui is definitely a decent and amazing airline. I haven't had problems with Tui and the service with Tui has been amazing each time we travel with them. Jet2 are another great airline too. Both Tui and Jet2 are brilliant. ❤
I think TUI is a travel agency at a first place, not just an airline. In fact it's the biggest traveling agency in Europe

My experience with Greek people is they are always so nice and helpful - they are polite and try to do what they can to help you. Its a crying shame what is happening in some parts of Greece at the moment

Stansted is so convenient for us. And Hampton by Hilton does a MAGNIFICENT breakfast. We had an early fight to Marrakech 10 days ago and you would think at 4am that it would all be hit and miss....but we were wrong: happy uniformed staff welcoming you, spotlessly clean, smell of fresh coffee, superb selection of hot food, cheeses, meats, pastries, juices etc - true TOP quality. We were stunned

Oh wow, that brings back so many memories. I stayed there donkey years ago in the apartment part. It wasn't so built up then but I'm talking 1993 or 94 if I remember. We also had a earthquake when we there. We hired a scooter and travelled around some of the island, utterly beautiful. I do love Greece.

As usual, always interesting and enjoyable to share your travel experiences. Personally, I have always preferred the smaller hotels where, generally, you receive a more personal service as opposed to being just a body occupying a room.

Zante is one of the places I'd love to visit and it's on my to do list. I've travelled to two of the Greek Islands Kos and Rhodes both of them are beautiful! ❤
Worked in Zante for 2 years for Tui when i was an entertainer in their hotels in Protaras . Loved it their . And airport so tiny its a breeze when we sometimes had to do airport duties . You need to go to Protaras its a lovely wee resort snd be good for Gabby and the little one mate .

Finally the Zante videos are forthcoming! Been excited for these as I absolutely love Greece. I love the fact you’ve gone for the proper Greek experience I call it. Always try to stay in a proper Greek family run hotel when I travel their. Like you said, the owners give you that personal welcome and I find it more enjoyable than your 5 star hotels. I presume all the youngsters around my age are heading to Laganas. Can’t wait for Sundays video. Have a smashing time in the sun and Greece. Yamas!

We've just got back from lanzarote and went with tui and can't fault them at all. Love zante I worked a season in zante in my youth.

They do call Zakynthos the Greek Ibiza. You were on a Plane with Essex and Cockney lads and lasses. I would be as it's my local be one full of Brummie and Black Country Lads and Lasses

@carolr9301 The first time I experienced clapping was many years ago when landing at East Midlands Airport soon after the tragic crash that occurred there
TUI Cabin Crew here! We're still a good old fashioned package holiday airline taking happy holidaymakers for their two weeks in the sun. We do get a round of applause on most flights! Formerly known as Thomson Airways, and Britannia Airways before that, we were re-branded along with the rest of the TUI Group in 2017 😊

@@theboardshorts I’ve been on many Thomson/Tui holidays. My first one was to Corfu back in 1987 when the plane was Britannia. Haven’t been on so many in recent years as I have discovered cruises. P & O do use Tui to Barbados so I’ve been on a few Dreamliners. Only when we’ve had a bumpy ride or a hard landing, I’ve heard clapping.
The Spanish LOVE clapping when a flight lands or a coach arrives at its destination…curious!!
Tim, I learn something new when I watch your vlogs! As I live on the west coast of Canada, I actually had to look up Zante I`d not heard of it before. The access you have to Europe because of the proximity is enviable! I left England when I was 15, and then (early sixties) the average person didn`t really travel to Europe much, and it`s great that you can get relatively inexpensive flights. Thanks for taking me along!

I emigrated to the west coast of Canada in 2006. I very much miss the cheap flights to Europe from the UK, and the cheap cost of travel generally. I'd love to visit the east coast of Canada but it costs as much as going to the UK, so there's no competition if I'm going to spend that sort of money; I'm visiting home of course. Travel costs in Canada are outrageous and Canadians are every day being robbed.

@@marjielalonde3875 There are still reasonable flights available. I'm flying from Toronto Pearson to Vancouver over Labour Day weekend and it was less than $400 return.

I'm 27 now, i've been to zante 3 times, once when I was around 7, then 18, then 21. It's insane how back then I was into all of the partying and the strip etc and now Zante sounds like a hell hole lol. The more up north you go though is lovely and relaxing. I quadbiked the island, was amazing, took around 5 hours. Saw and met some amazing people. Greek people are lovely. I'd go back now but i'd probably stay more up North away from the strip.
Loved the tui flight we used to fly when it was Thomsons and early flights used to get a cooked breakfast how times have changed

The last time I flew with Tui to Cancun, from Gatwick, I spent the night before the flight in the Sofitel. I'm not sure if it is still the case but I was able to check in and do the bag drop the night before the flight, We could then just go straight through security the next morning. As I flew Tui Premier, this included priority check-in, fast track security, lounge access and fast tracked baggage at the other end. Have to say, Tui Premier on the Dreamliner was fantastic. Wide comfortable seats with planty of leg room and the food was great. This was a no expense spared holiday in a 5* Gourmet Hotel in Playa Maya. Tui did a great job though it was a few years ago.
Wow, I love this style of video detailing all the stages through the airport and onto the hotel. The hotel looks cute I just love it, nice room and so cheap too especially with a good view like that! .Fantastic views from the plane of the European scenery and landing are a welcome addition . Enjoyed that. When I fly it's always essential to have a window seat! Look forward to the Island tour vid on Sunday! 👍

Just back last sunday from Zante to Glasgow with Tui, great flights, no delays, off at Zante Airport, transfer 15mins to hotel in Kalamaki - brillant two weeks

Watching your journey through Stansted Airport from the Hotel to the plane was a journey in itself you would need a holiday after that.
I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton on the 19th as our flight was 6 in the morning to Lanzarote it’s really nice

I’m flying with TUI next year when I’m going to Benidorm from East Midlands Airport as it’s my first time flying with them since they changed their named used to be Thompson

I’m frequent with Tourisk Union International (TUI) and they also offer in seat entertainment on their long haul offering with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

You had a long trip! We flew from East Midlands, with a lady pilot, and got there in 3hours fifteen minutes but the airport made her take the north runway. She did brake rather hard but my daughter pointed out it is a short runway so they can't take the bigger planes. I loved the drop down screens so we knew where we were when looking out of the window. As I said I hadn't flown for 38 years so the airport was a bit different but I had to smile as I was being wheeled in a wheelchair to check-in (which was straight through) that o the left was an archway with Ryanair check-in but straight underneath it said Prayer Room. Looking forward to the tour.

Very interesting. The only time I have Flown tui there was not enough leg room. Yes it's the time of year for 18-30 holidays if they still do them. But that is a lovely small hotel. Very clean. Thanks Tim ❤xxx

TUI Although not a 5 star experience is really good for family holidays especially for lower income families I've personally only ever flown with TUI (and once Thomas Cook the year before they creased flight operations)
TUI are generally alright on long haul flights done a few 12+ hour flights with them, they keep the food and alcohol coming free of charge.

That looks cool. I'd agree with another viewer, I prefer smaller hotels. I couldn't think of anything worse than being in one of those all inclusive huge complexes and going to massive dining areas! Fab video!
