Wonderful walk, so peaceful and tranquil. Particularly loved the shots under the viaduct 👍🏻

Very informative. As a Lindfield resident I find this is the best short history of the viaduct that I have come across. During my lifetime I estimate that I must have made over 14,000 crossings!

WoW!...With the changing of seasons, I bet you never grew tired of that scenery. Unlike myself, I only passed over it a dozen or so times & never knew. I may have chauffeured you at some point...if you ever used the 270/71/72 Metrobus service, when I used to drive for them around the turn of the century. So glad you enjoyed it & Thanks for your kind words!

A very nice viaduct, and with a lot of repairs by the looks of it, nice boating area, and 2 lucky jumps lol that stuff is mostly covered in green slippery moss.

@@AbandonedUK Any reasons you want to share for retiring? Eg: Age? Health? Bored? Bad experience? Too risky now? Too busy? Out of material? I miss your videos, had been watching for about 10 years. Any chance of the OCCASIONAL new one going forward?
I seem to remember you're somewhere round Horley; I go there from time to time for old memories as my father lived and had friends there a while after splitting from my mother. He taught at the old 'Court Lodge' school there too in the 1970s. I also distribute publicity about certain non mainstream things (in many places) and Horley has a reasonable number of places for it. I stay at the 'Gatwick' (in Horley) White House hotel which is the best value I have found for a few years now.
Anyway all the best and hope to hear from you with occasional new videos here if you ever feel like it.
Thanks for all you've done to date.
      Regards... Tony

      Hi Tony
Thanks so very much for your comments. I am still hoping to explore again even though I'm starting to feel my age of late, I had the covid back in March 2020 & also (long covid) happily I am now back at work full time after taking a 5 month break then started working part time & am also not exploring for to many of the reasons you mention, basically as I drive for a living I don't feel much like driving long distances when I get the odd few day's off work, I do try to keep looking for new explores, & a few have surfaced locally, but were either torched or were not accessible for the law abiding explorer. Hope you are well & stay subscribed as I hope to do something asap. I do actually miss it, & I enjoy watching a few explorers from the likes of adammarkexplores & thebeardedexplorer, exploringwithalec, shiey, abandonedworldexplorer,
Thanks again & I really appreciate your kind words.
      Regards Steve.
