Thank you so much for the software reset information. It's slightly different on the 650 Adventura, but the long press on the two buttons is the same and is what I did to eventually clear out my service warning light. You rock, thank you!
Just remember to check oil level through sight glass to between high & low levels WITH motorcycle completely vertical. Ignore what the manual says. It’s in Chinglish. Need to get pick-up bobbins on the rear & a paddock stand.
Thanks for that. I panicked today when I checked my new 250nk today and according to the manual it seems that you check it on the side stand and I could not see the oil in the glass at all. Ordered both a paddock stand and bobbins.
Blue is the best color on the 300NK. Awesome looking bike! I have the 300SS. Loving it more each time I ride. This is a great video to help people learn how to do their own oil changes. I'll be doing mine soon. I agree on the 450SR. If they bring that to the USA, I would consider trading my 300SS on it.
Fingers crossed on the 450, I’m on that Facebook group with you. I saw it was going to hit the European market for 23 but didn’t hear anything on the U.S. market. Not motorcycle related but I ordered my Maverick last month. Now the waiting game.
@@indyjones5265 I'm good with my 300 if they delay the 450 here for another year. Seems like that's what most companies do, release it in their country first, then the following year, we get it. I'm still hopeful that they push it out here for 2023, but not counting on it.
@@ROBSOLUTELY Yea same here, I'm good with waiting if need be. I have a lot of miles and adventures left with my 300. Good thing is out in New Mexico it's mostly warm in the winter so we can almost ride year round. How many miles do you have on your SS?
I have the same bike..i love thr color ..i have been getting compliments everywhere.. I'm Almost to the 600 miles but I'll let the dealer do it, but after that I'll be doing my own maintenance
Looking at this as my first bike. Dealer here is uncrating this same bike and color this wknd. Cant wait to get a leg over it. Sat on cf600?? last wknd loved it. Bit heavy and pricy for me right now though. Thanks for ur vid brother.
Honda GROM & Kaw KLX 230 have a similar side mount cartridge oil filter, but both have an outer spring inside pushing on the filter which is impossible to reinstall without laying the bike on it's side.
The only thing I would do differently is after the oil drains I would put the drain plug back in before cleaning the muffler. I'm a little anal and wouldn't want anything getting in the bottom end except oil.

Aluminum foil piece to funnel old oil. Easy clean up.

Thanks for showing how to reset the service interval as my gt 650 has the same dash 👍🏻
I'm still waiting to receive my 300nk, they look stunning. Thanks for the video
How long did they say it would take to come in? Our dealer has them on the floor out here
@@indyjones5265 It was on the showroom floor, eventually decided to get a duke 390
Man. Thank you. I just bought this very same bike and same color. I love it. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Well done. Would love to see you perform chain clean and lube maintenance on this bike.
Thank you so very much on how to reset the service
450sr was recently released in my country it was awesome.Inline 2 crossplane sounds awesome. And CF moto is pretty popular here.
I just got this bike . Upload more content will be helpful to me thanks .

Maybe cover the exhaust part that gets oil on it with some cling wrap for an easy clean up after. Just make sure its not too hot to melt the wrap.
I use aluminum foil under drain plugs and oil filters to catch any drips. Nice life hack
That is freaking good gas mileage. I'm in Washington state and I'm getting about 65 mpg
Just bought one myself 🎉

Every day is a good day to ride. Just saying.

also ok?
Nice bike! Any issues you have encountered so far?
No issues so far, just about to hit 1,000 on it tomorrow. I do know of a guy who hit over 10k on his and has only done tires and oil changes
@@indyjones5265 Anyone experienced starter relay issues?
@@raffman4266 not that I've seen from anyone. I'll keep an eye out for it though
Vedy Nice!
