Tips: 1. Understand the differences between task words (e.g. discuss = strength and weaknesses, or evaluate and justify) 2. Review allocated marks to consider what you need to write 3. Get feedback! Take what you got wrong, re-do it again and learn from your lesson, so you can improve the quality of your previous response 4. Link concepts you learn in real life - be informed and updated with the news - consider watching it occasionally 5. In regards to stimulus responses --> apply your own knowledge, so you can integrate stimulus material into your response and make conclusions to support what you are saying 6. Depth of response - Try to incorporate examples (e.g. with precedents, you can talk about the snail in the bottle case)
Thank you heaps!!! I'll see what i can do!!!! Keep an eye out on my insta stories to be updated on the next uploads! I think my part 2 q&a will be next! I show my posters in that and give some ideas for note taking for english and maybe maths!
Hey, I found your video really motivating, and it helped me achieve my desired study score! Especially where you said "show the assessors that you know your stuff"! Thank you so much!
I've got the exam in a month and a half, I've done really well on the SACs but need to finish it off on the exam! Really appreciate this video it helped a ton!
Do you have a poster or something of the definitions for all of the task words? If you do could you please share it because that would save me so much time!! :) also incredible video
last year I actually threw out all my legal stuff! if i had have known my score was going to be so good i wouldve kept all my resources lol! sorry girl! All the best!
i've heard some conflicting views and i wouldn't fault you for forgetting, but are definitions ever needed for keywords? sometimes i can understand how i'm supposed to approach a question, but fail to ascertain if i've fulfilled all the marks in my response. in these cases, i might decide to throw in a definition in advance to fill the gaps in case i'm missing anything. did you encounter this problem? also, were your exams easier than the sacs?
I found my years exam to be easier than my last sac! But 2020 legal exam was super easy compared to 2018/2019 imo! have a look over it! Honestly, if you have the time add in the definitions. but I reckon do some answers with definitions and some without and see what your teacher says! My memory isn't the best but I am super attentive to detail in answers esp longer ones so I think I'd define it!
What skills do you think are required for legal studies? Like should you be really good at English etc. like what grades do you think you should be getting? Sorry if you don’t know the answer. Just curious for when I need to pick start subjects
