Yes, it is quite inspiring to hear. And it's also surprisingly coincidental, since I'm in the same boat.
I am a disabled vet, DV survivor (crappy family and a crazy Ex), father of two great kids (1 kid, 1 young adult), currently in therapy for the gobs of CPTSD trauma I've been carrying around for ages. I'm highly motivated and focused to walk the shadow path and do the work, for as long as necessary, to step out into the sunlight after living in the darkness of the cave I hid in for nearly 44 years, and first entered as a 4 year old boy. I can't wait to one day bask in the warm glow of who I really am....and make stuff happen...good stuff.

I am looking for clarity. I am asking for prayers. I have found myself in a position I never could have imagined I’d be in again. So, there is a pattern, and I do take full responsibility for my choices. Things work out, but my life has been difficult. I left stability, relocated to be closer to my adult children, a leap of faith. Ever since then, I’ve been on this roller coaster! I’ve entered into contracts that were unfulfilled. I left two jobs recently, and now have no job at all. I’m exhausted. I could loose everything, but I don’t think I will.
I don’t know which way to go. Controlled chaos/ anxiety is the way I’ve been rolling along for 2+years. I’m older, I’m tired. Looking for a breakthrough, and some peace of mind.

This is not my best moment in time. Put a lot of energy into others this last year. Things fell off and didn’t move forward. Now others are looking to me to keep going and bring back life to what we worked for. But I’m tired. Without funds to make things happen.
Just existing and fading to less of what I’ve been.
My partner has been fighting cancer. I never know if they will have energy to get through the day. I’m giving of myself to help in anyway I can. But I’ve become a shell of myself. Loosing faith and hope that something will change for the better.
Our love is strong but our lives are void of hope.

For the past few years I've been trying to move on but no progress has been made. Last spot I felt was going to go through but nothing 😔😭.
I have to stay grounded here as a displaced person. On track for getting the damage done by Milton repaired. I thought living with other people (family) would be too much of a challenge for me, but in ways it's very nice. When I do go back home, someone I know wants to move in with me and I know that will lead to disaster because it's happened before and it's not about being stuck in the past. It has to do with the nature of the relationship. It's very hard to say no to someone who needs a place to go. I feel like a bad person for doing so. This person has so many friends and a huge social circle so there has to be another place for them. Hurricane Milton did move me, against my will. 7 point posture in specific types of meditation requires one to be very straight, so that's very good. The daily walking has helped take the edge off the hurricane fatigue and trauma.
