Dumb VFX are my favorite, some of the shots that have made me go "this is so stupid there's no way this will actually look good" end up being my favorites. Sometimes it's just fun to see what we can get away with.
Dumb VFX are best VFX 👌And that relighting is delicious omfg Btw you don't have to re-render everything in EEVEE to get the glow, you can just add a glare node in the compositor. And ofc you can still choose to subtract everything else from the glow layer and render it out in a separate file if you want the flexibility in post.

I need to you modify me a Blender X-wing, but make it a real piece of stolen salvaged beat up junkyard piece of trash s**t. Break off a lasar or two. Something I snuck into a junk yard a couple of weeks in a row, got its engines barely up and functional, and made off with it like Cotton Harris Moore. Something I can park in a field in my FPV videos and orbit around. Something with the cockpit panel falling off and panels missing off the size with guts hanging out and burn marks and lotsa dents. Paint a big pink 5 on the side, and have the name under the window Stacy crossed through with a magic marker and Choppergirl written underneath. Let me know how many pizzas it would cost me.
Inspiring. Hollywood would be able to make much better movies, when they were being more inventive and economic with their VFX and instead put more money into good stories. Also I love, when people use the tools at hand and get the absolute best out of them while at the same time cutting the work to the absolute necessary minimum.
Love your content! Maybe some greater chalange next time? What about fighting with CGI characters? I am just asking, because you content is really good, and I would like to create such a thing myself...
Another excellent video. For your close-up (with the 'orange' light -- I wonder how a sharper light with more contrast in the shadow would have looked). Love your style and love these breakdowns of short scenes. Thanks for the effort that goes into making these.
Good video, also in my opinion you should use constraints or there an addon called dynamic parent which is perfect when it becomes to parenting objects.

Are you creating it as we're seeing it, or do you, make it first, so when you show the final piece, and then go back and redo it for the camera?

Get a Blackmagic 6k full frame. I believe ur footage will match the backgrounds better
