Don’t forget to schedule time to do absolutely nothing! It’s okay not to have every hour of the day filled with something and to take that mental break.

I'm an engineering student and I skip class whenever I can (like when lectures are recorded). Most profs can't lecture to save their lives and the real learning happens outside the classroom. Only look at lectures when the book & office hours can't answer your questions.

If you are at a party and need water, skip the line, and ask for water. They will always attend to you first.
Great adventures is also crazy for 6flags. That swing ride is absolutely insane compared to king da ka

Imposter syndrome is a real thing for college students, especially incoming students. My advice as someone who completed their undergraduate degree is:
    1. Feeling stressed and scared you will not do well is completely normal. The important thing is to not let it get to you. Talking with family and friends helped me the most. Find what helps you.
    2. You go at your own pace. If you have to study more than other students, don't worry. Everyone has their levels of proficiency.
    3. Don't be afraid to ask questions! Professors, friends, family, and even TH-cam commenters like me might have the answers haha!
P.S. the world of prostetics is pretty cool. I have some engineering peers who were showing me the science of mechanical prostetics. Interesting stuff!

Im from South Africa, we don't call it majors we say program, finishing my Bcom in business. I think my greatest advice is... don't lose that kid in you, when you go to campus that morals, ethics and love your parents gave you may get diminished by the people you are with. Don't let it be over turned by some ones opinion or ways to lead you in the path that your parents and siblings walked you through. Campus is where they don't walk with you but are standing at the end of the finish line waiting for you to get across.
    All the best
    😆

Your brother is pretty passionate about his major, love to see it. Crazy different vibes from each sibling. I thought only my brothers and me were like that.

Never drink anything that you didn't see anyone make or a drink that you poured yourself. No open cans of soda, beer or random cup or shot.
Internships! Start doing them the summer after freshman year. They can become your FT job after graduation.

Brooooooo I am rn feeling soo insecure and like an outsider as I changed my major after my 1 st 5 months in my clg, now all my new friends treat me like an outsider I try my best but I am already tired and done with clg life , I was an extrovert but now I am so self conscious about myself that I have become introverted and idk I have social anxiety due to all the shits going on
