I have seen heaps of footage of people in Gaza and the west bank essentially playing tag with Merkava tanks as children. Anyone that plays with actual tanks as a child is going to perform at a much higher level around tanks as an adult. Hard conditions build strong people.

What the Western media is ignoring is the stark difference between the Israelis and the Gazans.
The IDF target ambulances, hospitals, crowds of civilians, deserted homes, schools, religious places, delivery of vital aid. The Palestinians target key leaders in the IDF, soldiers and tanks and troop carriers, and never attack helicopters or ambulances, even when they have them clearly in their sights. (Yes, there have been attacks in Israel that inevitably slaughtered civilians, but Israel and the West ignored the warning signs and reacted with escalation of violence.)
The longer this evil continues, the more corrupted everyone involved and supporting the IDF becomes. In my opinion, it is impossible to have troops in the field fighting without war crimes being committed (hence modern armies do rotation of troops), so it is in everyone's interest to avoid armed conflict, yet the West always chooses to support war. Why are these 'exceptional leaders of the free world' so stupid?
