We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it. We can get by, but cant seem to get ahead. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

The Ridgeline Is an amazing vehicle and would work well for 80% of the people out there. However, if you tow anything over a small trailer that weighs 3500 # or so, you're much better of in a Tundra. I'll bite my tongue on the Ford and the Chevy although older Chevys built between 1999 and 2006 were amazing! The reason I say those who tow are better off in a Tundra is that the Tundra is an actual truck with big robust truck parts and it was built for towing and towing often. If you're consistently towing in the Ridgeline, you're going to break something like a transmission or a motor pretty quick. Let me be clear and replete myself in that the Ridgeline is still an amazing vehicle but it's more car than truck. If you're occasionally bring stuff home from the hardware store or pulling your aluminum bass boat, then by all means, the Ridgeline is perfect for that and it does get noticeably better fuel economy over any of the other trucks. Trust me, I have owned many Tundra's, Ridgelines and Chevy 1500s (minus the newer Chevy's). There are great reasons to like all 3 as long as you are aware of each ones capabilities and make the correct decision that fits your needs.

My friend traded his in about a year ago for a new one. Only had 100k on it. I asked him why he traded it in, and he was like "Well, it was getting high mileage and had a little over 100k on it and was 7 years old". I about laughed because I'm like "You do realize that 100k on a Honda is nothing?" So he bought a new one -- at least he bought a Ridgeline and didn't cheap out and get a Chevy or something. Although recently he did buy a Ford Bronco (one of the new ones) which I think he will regret in a few years or when the warranty runs out (but he still has the newer Ridgeline).
The Ford Maverick puzzles me. It's basically a car with a bed on the back (or an SUV if you think about it). But people are buying them and being like "I have a truck" (yeah, you do, but you're like a "wannabe" truck owner). AT least get a Ranger if you want a small truck and don't want the Toyota or Honda... at least the Ranger is built on a truck frame whereas I don't think the Maverick is or it's a less sturdy / perhaps partial frame given it's price and the size of the vehicle.

You do realize this is the 1st Generation Ridgeline 2006-2014. It start development in 2001. The process to make a unibody pickup truck came a long way with years.
The flying buttress I assume you are referring to. The 2nd Generation Ridgeline 2017-2023 bed is fairly normal its shallow but the truck is wider than Tacoma,Ranger,Frontier and GM twins Colorado Canyon.
Remember that Ridgeline has a lockable watertight in-bed trunk with drain plug underneath its bed. You can cram an adult body inside of it. But I carry luggage or ice chest valuables.

I remember a couple years back your saying that Honda's big vehicles (their truck, SUVs and minivan in particular) had problems with their transmissions. Is that still the case? Or is it a matter of you can get such a great deal on a used Ridgeline that the money you're going to have to drop into a new transmission later is still worth it? On the towing front, I'm assuming a Ridgeline would be adequate for towing a boat and a small camper? I've been looking at an F150 and a Tundra but I live in Honda town so there's a certain appeal to the Ridgeline.
