SERIOUSLY LONG OVERDUE. I have watched this video at least a dozen times and each time I get emotional. I have been a fan for over a decade and it truly means so much to his fans who have known for years he was snubbed. He is the most humble and gracious man! CONGRATULATIONS Keith!

You see everyone? Keith never gave up. He kept trying, and keeps trying his best, year after year. He does not give up. Persistence is everything. So whatever you do, do it to the best of your ability, and never give up trying. Your day will come, too!

I love that those that aren’t even huge fans of his have the sense to realize this was definitely deserved. You see so many awards handed out and nothing but comments tearing that person down because the commenters favorite didn’t win. Keith is such an all around great guy and amazing performer that not many can disagree with this award. You only see one or two negative comments on any of the videos or articles of this acceptance and that’s a beautiful thing. It’s great to see such and honest, caring and humble artist get the recognition they deserve.

Ain’t no one that puts on a heck of a show like he does! He’s unreal amazing! Who else comes back out for an encore and sings 9 more songs?!?! AND....spends well over 20 mins going down the line to everyone in the first few rows signing autographs, shaking hands and hugging so many fans after the show is over. I had a chance to meet him a couple weeks ago and he is so deserving of his fans! A well deserved award for him! If you haven’t had a chance to see him in concert, him and his band put on a show like you’ve never, ever seen anything like before. Unreal....
Taylor deserves that too. I mean come on .. she entertains country audience in a good way and more over that she brought new audience to country music

Let the following sink in: The last time Keith Urban was named Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year, it was the CMA Awards were held outside of Nashville, the CMA's were still televised on CBS, and the No. 1 Country Song of that week was "Better Life" by Keith Urban. I bawled my eyes out yesterday watching this cause I was so proud of him. And today, a day afterwards, I thought “Hey this is exciting for him I’m not gonna cry”......NOPE Still crying! Keith you deserved this more than you can believe!

Keith definitely deserved this. Seeing him in concert twice and it never gets old. His shows are worth every penny. He played for two hours straight and the way he engages the whole audience is nothing like I ever see from any other musicians. He makes it apparent that no fan should go without experiencing the greatest time at his concerts. I went to his concert for GraffitiU tour and he stayed a half hour after the show was completely done and signed for nearly all the people that stayed behind. I was up in the seats and kept thinking he’s gonna be done in like 10 minutes, then another 10 then another and he still signed. So I ran up to the stage to get an autograph and he had to leave to get on the bus. I was bummed. So if he stays after to sign again I won’t be taking any chances at getting and autograph. But let me say, I have seen many artists in concert and NO ONE has ever done that before.
He makes his passion for music and his compassion for his fans known. I will continue to see him every chance I get. ESPECIALLY after seeing how he goes the extra mile for his fans.
Now THAT is an Entertainer of the Year!
Not to mention he took time out of his day to meet a local girl who was ill and couldn’t make it to the show that night all by a post that went viral. If that isn’t the most compassionate musician I honestly don’t know how you could genuinely top that one!

Ecstatic!! This award is way overdue for him, I have seen him live multiple times. I’ve seen him overlooked by CMA’s year after year when he has multiple nominations. His complete shock and genuine emotion brought tears to my eyes. He is so talented, humble and grateful. He is the real deal❤️

Florida Girl; well said Fl girl! I saw Keith Urban perform at a small venue in Orlando (Hard Rock) many years ago. He was so amazing. A very generous performer and genuine. There's nothing phony about him. And for someone who doesn't come from the USA, he has made a tremendous contribution to the Country Music genre. I love this saying: "You don't have to be born country to love country!" Keith gives us all another reason to love country music even more. So proud of him and admire him for so openly showing his love for Nicole, family, and most all for his gratitude to God. Keith is the real deal. 😉

While I’m well aware of all the great men out there, and I’m super lucky to have a ton of them in my life, I was just trying to say it was good to see what I know to be true represented on a world stage, at a time when the news featuring men (lately) has been so negative-whether deservedly so or not. I've been a fan of his since the very beginning. I just saw him a few weeks ago to celebrate my 40th bday. (We're "birthday twins," Oct. 26.) I was in the front row and the show was just as good as the 20+ other times I've seen him live. LOL No one deserved this more and it's long overdue.
For me, Keith was the one musician who turned me onto country music years ago and I've been a huge country fan since. I am so happy for him and thank him for bringing me into the country music family. Congrats Keith and Nicole!
