Zurich was also brilliant... One of the best bands of the 80s / 90s... and beyond! A time capsule! I'm already looking forward to the next studio album!!!
Joey com sessenta anos canta mais de 2 horas, corre o palco todo. Duvido que tenha um vocalista dos anos 80 que faz isso. E essa forma física dele? Maravilhoso! Te amo Europe para sempre!
I'm not sure people realize that every live gig from this band and generally these old bands is a treasure because every time might be their last!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Don't let the good music die!
My childhood heroes are still rocking it after more than 40 years later. Great live band, seen them many times over the years, never been disapoited. ❤
Acabo de encontrar este vídeo porque me encanta EUROPE. Los vi en Mérida y fue espectacular el comienzo de la gira! Gracias por compartir y viva EUROPE!
Went to see the show in London last night 25/10/23. Joey in great voice. The guys were obviously enjoying it immensely. Was John Leven's 60th yesterday, and last night they had a little drink on stage together with a birthday cake!! Brilliant night!
Agreed. PIP is a great album. But sadly, it was released at the beginning of grunge and didn't get the recognition. If they released PIP in 1988 instead of Out Of This World. I think it would've solidified the band as a solid rock contender. At least in the states.
The acoustic at the venue was sooo much better. I was impressed of how Joey nailed some of the songs even though his voice is not what it was 40 years ago - which was perfectly fine with me :) great band, great performance
Less so, about Joey, 👈🤔 but acoustic guitar is MILES harder than electric to play well... Check out Night Ranger, and Brad Gillis's work... ...or even Matthias Jabs on Scorpions....
❤hello Querido JoeyTempes felicitaciones Berlin no es muy facil pero te cortejan una bienvenida muy allegada a ti y a tu grupo musical interesante es que tu voz me contagia de alegria😊
Off to see them at the De Montfort Hall in Leicester, UK on 24th October. It’s a fantastic venue, just the right size for a rock gig and one that Europe has never previously played at. It’s also the venue that I saw my first ever rock show at in February 1979. That band was UFO…a band that heavily influenced Europe. Funny thing, serendipity…
I live in London but went to see Blue Oyster Cult at the De Montfort Hall a few years ago, great venue indeed and great show. Enjoy Europe tonight, I'm seeing them in London in a couple of days.
@@ScreamWright Pleased you agree that DMH is a cracking venue - have seen many, many bands there over the years incl. Def Leppard supporting AC/DC on the Highway To Hell tour just three and a half months before Bon Scott passed away. Bon Jovi supporting Kiss along with pretty much all the rock bands active during the NWOBHM period. I have signed ticket stubs from queueing at the stage door after gigs by Krokus and the first full UK tour with Bruce Dickinson at the helm of Iron Maiden. Such great memories of a great venue. Looking forward to this evening’s gig but as a Leicester City season ticket holder I’m unfortunately missing tonight’s Championship clash with Sunderland. Will have to make do with recording the match and watching it when I get home. Have read some great reviews of this series of shows so I’m sure you’ll have a great time in a day or so.
@@ScreamWright update from Leicester last night…you are going to be blown away by Europe. As a collective and as distinct individuals, the band absolutely cooked from start to finish. I won’t throw in any spoilers but their quality shone through. Every track was bang on it and it was clear that audience and band were dialled in and having a great time. You’ll love it at the Palladium, I’m sure. 11/10.
Thanks for posting! Was there with my brother all the way from the Netherlands because the show in Utrecht was sold out.😄What a fantastic concert! The band seemed to enjoy every note and so did I.

1:16:32. Joey é incrível. Dança, corre o palco todo, canta, Toca instrumentos( E bem), sorridente, gentil. É um super homem! Todos são pontos altos do show, más destaco : 47:13. 51:35. 1:56:49
Europe didn't support Bon Jovi. Europe hated Bon Jovi after being dissed by them on an English music tv show. But yes, it's true, they blew them off the stage.
Thanx so much for sharing! I had tickets for the Dutch gig, but I’m too ill to go this time. So I had to resell my tickets unfortunately. 😢 BTW: > Seven Doors Hotel > Prisoners In Paradise > Superstitious Once again: Thank you!
Thanks for correction. I misspelled Superstitious and the rest I wrote just like the band itself wrote in the setlist which was on the stage but I corrected it.
Mic Michaeli's keyboard sound dominated this concert, even if mostly are basic chord blocks or fill-in melodies. The music was balanced with John Norum handle the solos in each song.
O melhor destaque: 1:29:10. Joey com voz linda e John Norum voltou a cantar. ( Impossível não ficar emocionada com essa homenagem ao ícone inglês David Bowie)

One of the very few remaining bands that still have their original lineup who can still put out a great performance
"Original" is not really what this lineup is, though. The two first albums had another drummer (Tony Reno), and Mic Michaeli was not on them.
Classic line-up, not original.

All the legendary bands and singers are at their 60-70 and they take all today's half naked bimbos walking backwards.
