I loved this video! Often times I watch " 10 patterns to knit this season, my favorite 20 patterns... And I always wonder if the knitter actually does knit any if these, you are indeed a very talented and fast knitter 🎉🎉🎉
Love your recap. Hope to make some goals for the rest of the year. Using yarn stash is definitely one of them. I like how your conscious of your yarn buying. Hope to do that in in future. I will be casting on for your lion brand fisherman wool kal. Happy knitting 🧶!
Loved the vlog, I have also been trying to be more conservative with the yarn purchasing, however since watching this was inspired to buy the fisherman’s wool and the kid mohair. Lol. But great value I do agree! Great ideas, I think I want to make a cabled cardigan. Looking forward to checking out the new pattern.
It seems your yarn acquisitions (that I've seen this year) have made perfectly good sense. Surely you will find ways to use it all. [That's what I think about my purchases (i.e. yarn that I didn't have a specific project in mind for): some of the yarn was purchased to stock my pantry just with possibilities. The yarn gives me ideas. In any case I, too, spend far less on other things (than a lot of people) so I don't feel bad about buying it. And I'm also going through my pantry to match yarn with projects I've got in my to-do queue. So there are lots of socks and shawls coming with several cardigans and pullovers thrown in later in the year.] Do you ever give away your older sweaters to make room for newer ones? I ask because you are super productive and I don't know how you can keep up with them all (i.e. cycle through them to wear them all)! I find your work very inspirational: I hope to have my garments fit me as well as yours do you. I began my LBFW cardigan (with Lettlopi and a mohair/silk held together) and like the resulting fabric so far. Hoping to finish it next month so I can cast on the Waves of Change jacket (because I've had the pattern and yarn for ages). Really like your updates. Thanks for sharing so much information (and providing me with lots of ideas)!
Every so often I do destash items that I no longer wear because of fit or style changes. I'm actually planning a destash of hand knit items this fall and have slowly been washing them all to get them ready to sell.
I thought that weather sounded awfully familiar, which makes sense since I'm in South Jersey. Have you been to the NJ Sheep and Fiber before? I just learned NJ has one (after moving here 8 years ago, oops) and it's coming up in a few weeks. I just happened upon your channel a few weeks and I'm really enjoying your videos!
Nice video. Lots of great projects to look forward to. I love that sweater hanging behind you on the wall. Gorgeous. What is the name of that sweater. Thank you
Great video! If possible, can you put the pattern names before each Ravelry link? It doesn’t show the whole site address, so we don’t know which link it is until we click. 😊
Hi there! I’m relatively new to your channel. I would love to take a closer look at some of your projects, but when I click on your ravelry links it won’t let me look at them unless I log in. I neither have or want a ravelry account, but I know I’ve been able to look at and even purchase patterns off other accounts with out having an account myself. Just thought I’d mention it, in case it’s just some settling that can be switched…..I’ve enjoyed your channel 😊
Thanks so much for watching and your interest in my projects! I definitely try to detail my projects within each podcast episode for those that are not able to or do not wish to use Ravelry. I also usually share more pictures of projects through my Instagram account if you use that platform. I'm happy to share any additional information that might want/need if you simply ask in that particular podcast episode. As for the settings, I'm not sure what this might be.
I always look forward to ur podcastsTU❤❤❤
Love the Heirloom Quilt Cardigan and Avani Shirt patterns. Your Carbeth is still one of my favorites!
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you! I do also and that's partly what inspired this video. It was a good way to see what I've actually knit and what I haven't.

Thank you! I’m definitely not perfect, but I’m always striving toward progress. 😊
Great video! ❤
Thanks for spending some time with me, Kaci! ❤️

It's all about progress and not perfection. At leas that's what I tell myself! 😅

I haven't been to the NJ festival yet, but maybe one year soon.

That is the High Desert Yoke by Gudrun Johnston. It’s almost cool enough to start wearing it again! 😊
@@KnitandGrace it’s beautiful. Love the colors you knit it in. Thanks

Ah, this might be if you're viewing the description from a mobile device. I can definitely do that in the future.
