- Wat Kaeng Khoi was built in 1787 by villagers joining together to construct and raise land for monks to dedicate to Buddhism. Later, the villagers called this temple the name Wat Raeng Khoi. The reason for having such a name is the origin. In the era when the country had changed, the villagers had built up more and there had been a lot of cutting down and not destroying the forest. Only some large standing trees remain, such as the large rubber trees along the banks of the Pa Sak River on the north side of the temple. Approximately 4 - 5 trees remain visible when civilization comes. Forests are decreasing because of destruction. make animals Had to move their residence to another place. As for the vultures and crows, they came to live in the big rubber tree. The remaining ones are in the area along the banks of the Pa Sak River, making its way down the rapids to the temple pier, numbering in the hundreds. Therefore, finding food such as dead animal carcasses is not enough to meet the needs of the vultures. So they came together and fought over each other and fell from the top of the tire. for monks and novices to see regularly And in the evening, these vultures always come back to sleep in this big rubber tree. When the villagers saw that Therefore, they called it the place where the vultures were kept. And the new temple was named Wat Raeng Khoi. Later, the government officially named the temple Wat Jamu Samoson. Around the year 1944 - 1947, the country prospered, villages, and communities increased. The monks and the villagers had the same opinion. It is appropriate to change the name of the original temple to suit the village and government unit. Therefore requesting to change the name.
