THIS IS MY HOMETOWN! Well, Boone is 25 miles from my hometown and the Salvation Army store looks like the one on I believe hiway 105. You should have come to Crossnore to the Crossnore Sale Store, It has quite a history. My great grandparents ran it. You might have found some good finds there. You never know, you have to keep going back. It is sponsored by Crossnore School INC. The "Sale" is quite an adventure. We used to have "dollar boxes". You never knew what you would get in them. They had just about everything in them. Please come back to the North Carolina mountains in the summer. In July there is the gathering of the clans on Grandfather Mountain. It is one of the largest gathering of Scottish clans in the US. Thanks for filming this.
I absolutely love your videos. Im so glad you are making them again. You taught me so much when I first started selling. I’ve just recommended your video to a friend starting reselling in North Carolina. ❤️ I found this video very helpful. Looking forward to learning more about TheRealReal and Thred Up Lux. Thank you!
Wonderful clothing for hauling vacations I’m learning how choosing a great clothing items for reselling on eBay. WOW 😯 love it 😍 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍thanks you nice video.
You gave a great lessons of how to resales overall, ect. Thank you for sharing. I just found your vblog and automatically subcribe. I enjoyed and learned alots at one setting.Looking forward for your next lesson of hauled.
Your video was very interesting. We live in Blowing Rock in the summer and are 8 miles from Boone. These are my favorite stores. Another great thrift store in Boone is the Rams Rack in downtown Boone. Got my husband a great Bally leather jacket with original Bally hangar for 50.00. We frequent the stores that you went to and get some very cool pieces for our home. The estate sales in that area are usually excellent as well. FYI, if you see 346 on a Brooks Brothers label, it was made especially for the outlet store. The quality is not the same as from the regular store. Thank you for sharing.
I can't imagine even how those clothes look like. The only thing that is clear are the labels. Maybe you can put it in hangers. That will be easier for you to show and tell. And we can enjoy it too
I just wanted to tell you that I thoroughly enjoy your videos. I know making/editing/uploading content is time consuming & wanted to thank you for doing it 😃. I love learning from other thrifters & you have such a great soothing voice! I know you already have a job, but if you didn’t, you could so do voiceover work.
Might be time consuming, but doing the homework can actually pay off. I have scout iq for books, games, puzzles, audio books, etc. It can pay off. She is right on the money and I subscribed to her the other day.
I subscribed the other day, jeans. please come to Philadelphia. I would treat you to lunch. your videos are awesome. nothing boring. you can school people. I will start writing down different items, maybe then I can cash in stuff. I can't believe what people throw in the trash too.
I live in VERY rural GA, access to FL, AL goodwill same distance...just as rural. We may make our livings from pecans and cotton, but we do actually go to o the big city to buy clothing , and our thrift stores are proof 😉...and half the prices I see from hauls on average....so y'all come on down! Hope you liked Boone, have, family there.
That's a lot of thrift stores for a small town! Mine only has 2 and they are both small. One has only one small rack of clothes. The next closest is 2 hours away!
The Salvation Army thrift store just over a coup mountains in Johnson. It’s Tennessee I went to during Holidays was so expensive! The mall brands were close to $20
I really enjoy your videos as you have a great eye for better fashion brands and I've learned SO much which ones to look for now. Please do a video on the Real Real. There are times I wished I would have sent to them but don't know what I'm doing
Hi there.... new subscriber here. The Poetry of Nice recommended you! I would love to know more about the Real to Real and Thread Up Lux. I'd love to see a video on that. I'm enjoying your videos so much. Your videos are so relaxing and full of info! Thanks so much!
Hi,thanks for all bideos you make. Can you make a video about the thredup, swap and real real what ,tutorial how do you send the boxes sizes of boxes and how many pounds you send in each one. Thanks God bless you.
I really like your videos; I learn a lot from you. 2 questions, if you would be so kind as to reply to this beginner. (1) Where do you look up the tag to see if it's vintage and (2) How do you plan to wash & dry that St. Johns Collection sweater (it still scares me).
Did I understand that you are going to wash the St John jacket? I have a couple of suits and have always thought they should actually wash well but have been afraid to try. Thanks so much for the show. Dina
I always wonder about which comments are replied to and which are not. I asked about how she was going to wash that St John as well...but no response either
I can only see the brand names n patterns.. why dont you move back a little bit from the camera so we can see the style.. its too crowded closer to the cam😒
I know those stores. I live in Charlotte NC but my husband's family lives in Boone. Hebron the thrift store next to the Goodwil, my brother in law is over the whole Hebron community. The profits from that store goes to help the Hebron men's rehab center. I love your hall and I love watching and learning from you.
Watching your video now, and am interested in your thoughts on the best place to send higher end items. I have a pair of Roger Vivier shoes that are listed on Poshmark, but I’d rather have a reputable high end reseller sell them, and I’ll take whatever the commission is. My question is, between The Real Real and ThredUP Up Luxe, which one have you found to be the best for a profit margin? Also, thank you for all of the information you give 😊. Much appreciated!!
I have learned so much from you and love your channel! I've never washed St. John knits. How did it turn out after washing? Cold water and hang dry? Thanks for sharing!
A while ago you recommended a Facebook group for resellers. I can't find it going through some of your old videos. Any chance you remember what the group is called?
Hello from NC! I'm in Charlotte, and I find tons of great stuff at my stores and mostly the bins. I think people think there are only country folks that live here but there is actually a huge banking professional population that donates tons of great high end brands. I'm sure we don't have as much as you in NY but I am happy! Also would love to see you follow up with a ThredUp Luxe video or The Real Real!!
Do you have a positive history with Thred Up luxe? I've a spotty experience with them, nervous to send items there. TY. Thanks for the louder sound. Would really love to shop your ebay store. PLEASE list the name!
Guinevere Pendragon I have had good experiences. I prefer the upfront payout to consignment. I only send in high end brands where I can make $20+ per item. If you are sending in mall brands (like Gap and Express) you only get pennies - literally.
I found a Michael Simon sweater size S with tags and mine had a loud vibrant 3D Apple theme. It sold for $78 on a best offer plus shipping on the GSP to Australia. That find paid for everything I bought at the church rummage sale. 👍😊. That said, interesting video. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, I noticed you passed PureJill and I'm seeing more and more of it. What's the diff between JJill & PureJill? Is one a higher value than another? welcome back. I second therealreal. and she is right, the Realreal will sell quicker, they have a much wider audience that's looking for luxe items. About St. John....it's one of the brands therealreal told me they are no longer taking.
Pure Jill is a type of J. Jill made out of a special Tencel fabric which is really soft. I list all J. Jill at the same price (around $18 for tops, $26 for dresses) and can usually make a sale rather quickly I would say it is definitely worth it if you need bread and butter sales on eBay.

By Malene Birger is a danish designer FYI :) thank u for sharing your resales tips.

I found some good records at Hebon Thrift store once
That monogram Anthropologie one sold for me right away for $40... not sure if it was a fluke but it might be worth pricing a little higher
Great video as always! Thank you for educating us!
Please-please do a video on Real Real!..)
I learned so much, thank you!

My brooks brothers dresses go very well, especially career dresses.
Nice clothing ! Enjoyed watching your video 👍

❤️ your videos. How do you cross post from eBay to Posh mark?
Isn’t the “346” brooks brothers the factory one? Which means it’s lower end? If so does it still sell as good as the regular brooks brothers?
Watching your video now, and am interested in your thoughts on the best place to send higher end items. We are now 3 who asked about this...with no response.
Loooove brooks bros for womens! I ucmsually pick up logo ones for the shirts. Kids brooks does well too!

When you say list and take best offer does that mean you put it to auction with a reserve?
Miss your videos plz do more if you can ❤️
Love your videos !is it better to do auction in ebay or buy it now? Thanks
Would love a video on real real. Thinking of sending my first box.

could you list your posh closet?
That Brook Bro dress!!! 😍
Is it available?
I sold that Brooks brothers dress and yes it did sell quickly. I missed a tear at the last button opening and gave a full refund.
How much time do you usually spend at each store?
It varies, but to source the whole women's section in a small store takes about 20 minutes, a medium store an hour, and for a large store 2 hours+.
New York Thrifter thank you. I always wondered if I’m taking too long lol
Lioness If you don’t spend a long time you miss things (or at least that’s what I tell myself 3 hours in 😀).
I like to learn about the brands from you but hate the camera view being so close to the item.
Where do you sell online and what is your username?
can you make a video comparing the real real and thred up lux
What is the name of your store???
So many have asked...always ignored. For some reason, not willing to let us know

Awesome sale!
@@RunwayMUA The tag says 1994 on the back side, just in case you didn't see it :)
EmptyNest FullPockets I missed it! Thanks for looking out.
Be careful with the lululemon, I have found 3 fakes in thrift stores recently:( they had the logo and the size stamp but were fake :/
Me too! I found fake pants and tops. The logo was correct (a total ripoff) but there was a totally different brand stamp inside. Be careful.

Poshmark name and Ebay seller name pretty please
Hi, please do a video about the real real.
chemskies in N C ! as usual ugh
Anthropologie brands don't sell well for me :(
Getting Slim So sorry! There are currently A LOT available on these platforms which is making competition for sales harder.
