Most unexpected: "Rest of the world" gave 8 points to Aija, 3rd place just after Finland and before Sweden.
I always thought that Aija has a great potential everywhere in the world.

Done. Yesterday Sudden Lights won national competition and are going to Eurovision. Finally something rock-ish (with some U2 vibes even) not those boring all-the-time solemn ballads, sugarpop, lame rap or "something" - heck-knows-what. They only need to have a good show. Song is great.
So far this is my favourite ESC23 song, if they can recreate this video in some way on stage it will be a hit I'm sure. Appears to be hugely underrated in the odds at the minute. 12 points to Latvia from Australia

It contains not only a certain acknowledgement of one's own inalienable trauma, but also the firm desire to not pass that trauma down to others. Even if they fail in this mission, the will to staunchly ward it off remains.
