16:58 use more wall line or 100% infill to get more strength. You can also print the part in 45° for more strength. I watched the entire video and there are a couple things I would done differently. I worked with such devices for around 10 years. My suggestion is to get rid of the teeth’s. Use a smooth belts and wheel. For the other, not motor driven wheel, use a bulging surface and add a tension mechanism on both sides. With this the belt will self center itself. Use a aluminum or better steel for the shafts and place the bearing inside the wheels. This way you can use a tension mechanism for the not driven wheel. Look into how they build the creality cr-30 for example. Nice little project you did there 😊

Yeah depends on the machine. Bambu lab has surprisingly good tolerance. In this video it was just my own mistake lol.

What was the outer diameter of the bearings you used, and how big did you make the hole?

Maybe instead of a conveyor belt, start with a tube slide and an air blower to push it down the slide around your printer and into the trash can.
