The sif fight is sad because if you do the DLC first before you fight sif you can help him as a puppy later then summon him for the manus fight, then later you fight him when he's big, but he recognizes you so you get a sad cutscene when you meet him again and he doesn't want to fight you, if you didn't already know that.

Activate the shortcut behind the titanite demon (where solaire is), and you can use the same bonfire from before the centipede demon. It's a much shorter run.
I also beat the game recently and was using Fightin Cowboy's guide too. It was just way more optimal experience that way imo and I'm glad I found his channel

Beauty of these games, never ending challenge. Ng+ x infinite, community challenges, etc. This is why this game genre became a genre within itself, and that it is deemed Masterpieces each one.

That trident dance they were doing buffs enemies. You can actually do it yourself in Dark Souls 2 if you manage to get ahold of one. On Dark Souls 2, make sure you put some points into adaptability when leveling.
Bloodborne, demon’s souls, both the dark souls sequels, and elden ring would fill that hole it left. I would recommend playing bloodborne somewhere in the middle. It breaks a lot of souls habits and will give you that experience of learning it again
This is the first time I’ve seen the game in remastered. I got DS1 for 360 on 2014 and only last week got the last achievement. I didn’t grind for it the whole time 😅. But after seeing it in remastered. Wow is it so much more beautiful

@CappaTron Hahahaha, I take it that means you've already started. Here's a few tips then. 1. Level Adaptability to 15. Adaptability effects your i-frames during rolls. 15 Adaptability is the same as normal rolls I'm ds1 and ds3. Ds2 is the only game that can start you with less than the standard i-frames. I don't recommend pushing it past 15 though, unless you're doing multiple new game+ cycles. 2. Armor does almost nothing to protect you unless it's havel armor. So level health instead of getting bigger armor. 3. Bonfire ascetic's are extremely useful, as some weapons and spells can only be acquired in New game+. Which a bonfire ascetic will push that current area you're in to the next cycle. Which means that area and the boss of that area also get much harder. 4. Don't join the covenant of champions. It makes the game significantly harder. 5. There is a special boss in the game hidden behind a covenant. Joining that covenant requires you to have a certain investment into two stats. It's an optional boss btw.

@@Coolfusis there's an Illusory wall near the end of the damaging lava area, it has barely any enemies and is a pretty fast runback.
Run back is about 2 minutes if you have the closer bonfire

Nice first run on easy mode. My 55 year old mother beat this game with the black knight sword. Try soul level one, it's a blast.
Nothing beats the feeling beating Ds1 for the first time. Emptiness lasted longer than finishing naruto shipudden.
