When I saw her perform in Ventura, probably in support of her Bikinis and Martinis (or was it Martinis and Bikinis?) album, she stood absolutely still at the mic, never moved, never acknowledged the crowd; just went from one song to the next. Not even a "thank you." It was weird.
Yes....I've seen the video....hard to comprehend...but this video shows a completely different person....like the job of performing over the years ground her joy down. I still love her music. Always will. Amazing talent.
She loves the Lord it seems to me. She just does not want to be tossed by the waves of wrong religious rules. Like by denying the beauty that God has given us. Like having to wear a white shirt and tie to church. Come as you are, Jesus said.
@@Tom-iw3zh I've always wondered if she left CCM because of all the negativity she witnessed, like hypocrisy, greed, worldliness, etc., in an industry that was supposed to act Christian and promote the gospel and the kingdom of God--or did she turn her back on Christ. I've looked for interviews and info on the Internet in search for an answer. The closest I found was her telling the record company that she would publicly state that she had had sex with someone she wasn't married to, and that this was all it took for them to break her contract. The context of the statement didn't make it clear if that was simply an example of how bad the record company was or if it was an admission of sin. Later she married the secular music producer "T-bone," but their marriage didn't last. I also saw her performance of a song which seemed to be a criticism of legalists or strict, religious people. So, I don't know if she left CCM or Christ in bitterness or what. Obviously, it's not my business, but I enjoyed her CCM albums, and she seemed to write some biblically-based songs from the heart. I would be sad to think she became bitter from her experiences. I'd like to know that she's still a believer, regardless of what kind of music she composes and sings. I pray that she's still walking with Christ.

Sad lost little girl...😢
She's a full ass grown woman with an adult child.

Why do you say that?
