Couple notes as usual: **Hirume gets the discard effect when being destroyed by battle OR card effect. **DNA surgery changes type. I said attribute but then was talking about type Lmao sorry. ***Vanity's emptiness is in a similar situation as KC & is more commonly sided if anything. There's A LOT of backrow removal in the format. This deck can main mst as well, but most recent lists have chosen to side it.
You're so right about breakthrough being modern, and back in the day people played chain. I'll never forget during hat format the running joke that everyone used was "I got 2 chains", because of the rapper.
@@ZKrash2000 It's unfortunate too because it's my personal favorite looking one, but sadly has no real place in the deck given it requires 3 monsters instead of 2
@@MaxImmatureZarin Appreciate the video! My buddies and I do HAT format every saturday alongside Edison format. Right now I got my Bujins and Vayu Turbo for Edison.
@@Statistic189 Of course and thank you for checking out the video! That sounds like a ton of fun! Edison is a great format as well especially with all the newer techs and innovations happening
@@Befree7 I plan to have a few full guide to side decking (monsters, spells, traps) videos up next week that'll explain all the different choices since it's somewhat player preference
I think you should main d.d. crow instead of maxx C, because this deck suffers decks that can be stopped better by crow instead of maxx C, and they are artifacts and spellbooks (you should anyway lose this last matchup)
@@lorenzociabattari2405 I mentioned wanting to play crows in the video I believe. From the testing, they've both had their benefits. It's sorta been 50/50 in topping lists as well. Lance/chalice help with artifact/books going first so card advantage and seeing more can be important, but yeah bujin has always had a bad spellbook matchup pre siding
@@SpartanNinjaViking It's definitely a different type of deck compared to a lot of others in the format. Can't go wrong with soul charge or artifacts tho!

@@PistisAdelphos Haha that's the sole reason I say "2 fiendish" nowadays because everyone at my locals would say that!
Love this deck so much. Hoping my locals starts doing HAT alongside Edison. I’ve kept my Bujin cards all these years
@@westlysk8 Ayy that's awesome! Try to get more people to push for it!
Thanks for the content
I love bujins, hopefully you'll bring replays/games of the deck

Had all the Bujin XYZ's except Amaterasu :(

I run a split of 2 crow and 2 Maxx c and side 1/1 of each for the matchups I need them for
@@Statistic189 I'm a big fan of that split in a lot of my other decks and 2 ofs in general. That's probably the move

Bujin is fine, but I could never play something without soul charge and/or sanctum this format.

@@MaxImmatureZarin never! Keep up the content. Glad HAT is popping off.
