I purchased the Vanilla Eclat because I just Adore Chris. You nailed it when you said its an elevated sophisticated gourmand. Exactly what one would expect from Chris. Its so cozy and comforting. Haven't been the biggest fan of Navitus fragrances so far but this is lovely.

Lol I love Haley as well and I am happy to hear someone finally talking about Chris's collab. I think Haley is the first. Tempt me not was love at first sniff awesome vanilla excellent on its own and has become a layering stable and I know it will get even stronger when that vanilla starts to bloom❤❤❤
I have Vanilla Éclat and it’s a beautiful scent. Very cozy, comforting and classy. Basmati rice does give me a popcorn smell when cooking, so that’s probably what you’re picking up on 😊 I’m definitely enjoying this one! Thanks for your review❤

Haley I get the popcorn in Vanilla Eclat too! On my skin that only lasts for about 10 minutes but I enjoy all the phases as the fragrances develops. 😍 It’s very signature-scent worthy.
I have Peach Aurum and Tempt Me Not. Both are stunning fragrances in their own ways. Really enjoying wearing both of them. I’m eager to try a sample of Vanilla Eclat for now because of the guaiac wood note. 😅

I bought Vanilla Eclat and I have been wearing it non stop. I don’t get any popcorn but I do get a beautiful warm rice with vanilla and the deep dry down has such a gorgeous creamy Sandalwood ( dare I say it reminded me of the sandalwood in Guidance).
I regret not picking up Vanilla Eclat when they had that promo going on when it was released. The notes sounds amazing and I love Chris! 😊 How’s the longevity?

The popcorn-like aroma in Vanilla Éclat is the scent of Basmati rice cooking in the rice cooker- it’s very literal!

I sometimes get popcorn with Vanilla Eclat too! I don’t have other rice perfumes so maybe my nose is learning haha. Super cozy scent!

I do not find it sour at all. The rice is more like rice pudding, it isn't overly sweet but the perfect amount of rice / sweetness ratio.
Buttermilk doesn't smell sour unless it has gone bad. It has more of a tangy smell.
