I mean dream was dead to rights in that scenario and they literally handed him his survival tool.
My personal favourite is
-Sapnaps sacrifice as that was cool that he could do something to stop Dream from getting to the End City.
-I also like Dreams fishing rod play as that was the final play of the manhunt that caused Dream to save manhunt.That was so intense.

dream didn't have rockets, so there was no way he could have returned the same way he did previously.
my guess, he was never planning to get to the end, it was a set up for the final battle, above the void.
it was a good setup, but I suspect they planned a few of the things in this manhunt so that the last one would be exiting.

The Fishing-Rod'd Ender Pearl wasn't actually the final play. Awesamdude, off-camera, attempted a play where he used the Ender Dragon's launch mechanic to throw himself onto a pillar to stop Dream. He failed, though, and Dream never saw it on-camera, so it wasn't shown, but he talked about it during the analysis.

The trick is you jump first and then aim forwards the press right click once (Dream didn't make that play, a lot of players knew that trick a couple months or even years ago)
I already do this trick for 4 years so it's probably way older tho.
Its not that its a new trick, its that he got a punch bow this manhunt but in this version it is also way harder
Punch bow pvp when depth came out was so fun lol
this use to be extremely common years ago on pvp servers when it was easier to do and more efficient, but now its just not as valuable to do it and was likely never introduced to the new population of minecraft players.

lol no offense but these people kinda suck. It took that guy 3 tries to do the water MLG. It's really not that hard. All you do is jump and aim for the bucket, them time the water bucket right as you land.
It takes like 10 attempts before one of them even does it correctly
5:25 quick explanation on how Dream did it: just about a single tick after you knock an arrow, you need to let go of the button, and the overall velocity is net 0. The direction it was set to travel is what determines where you go.

I think Dream held the arrow for as little as he could and then immediately jumped so that it pushed him forward. I've never tried bow boosting, but that's my logic on how it works.

here is pancake recipe:
Ingredients
• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 ¼ cups milk1 egg
• 3 tablespoons butter, melted
Process
Step 1
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Step 2
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

Punch Bow - I think Dream just quickly released the arrow and then jumped at an angle to launch him in the direction he wanted to go.

So do you think that the 2 hunters that are not manhunts like the assassin video, should be sapnap and George or do you think it would be entertaining to see a combo of for example, ant frost and bad as the hunters. Personally, I wish he switched up the hunters when there is less than 5 hunters.

The punch bow trick dream did is really old you could easily find yt tutorials on it. It was heavily used on polish pvp servers years ago
bro the water bucket mlg that dream did was wayyy harder since he had less distance from the ground and had to act super fast instead of having the bucket for five seconds and then mlging

For the underwater bucket trick spamming right-click is the worst method holding right-click is better and repeatedly double clicking is the best
Need to do the Slime Block clutch on a netherrack speed bridge into a water bucket clutch onto another netherrack speed bridge too.
So the bow clutch that Dream did is possible, it's just ridiculously hard

The punch bow method has been used on hermit craft amd is speculated to be one of the inspirations for the firework to propell the elytra.

I think everyone watching this video can do all of these plays. It's not impressive to do them it's impressive to think about them in seconds and execute them in the menhunt itself

Yeah its not about the play but also about how he executes them, the plays also have to take and a lot of thinking and skill but for example the ocean monument is just bucket spam and hay bale placing but the way he did it worked so well and gave him a massive head start.
Those things that they did were really did well!
