I understand the Join concepts, but I'm not sure of the practical implications in PBI.2 questions: (1) If I establish relationships in the model view in PBI (for example star schema), and then use fields from connected tables in a visual, am I performing a join? So what does creating the relationship do, create the possibility for joins? (2) Merges are definitely joins, aren't they?
@@walterstevens8676 Question 1 - no you are not performing a join only filtering tables based on specific values by using relationship. Question 2 - merge is a join absolutely

Question 1 - no you are not performing a join only filtering tables based on specific values by using relationship.
