Just discovered this reaction, I'm a bit late to react, but his back story on how he came to get to AGT is interesting. Apparently, they asked him a year ago, but Gabriel said no -- he didn't think he could go to an English-speaking country, not knowing the language and doubted he would be able to showcase his voice. It wasn't until the following year, that Gabriel's mother accepted for him and then told him he has to show his God-given talent and the God who gave him his amazing voice won't let him fail in front of the judges/audience. When he was in rehearsal for the show, he started to lose his voice due to nerves, he called his mom for moral support, now you see the result and now he has fans from all over, including the USA, which I am one of them!! I just love this audition and how amazed everyone was and still continues to be -- we love our Gabriel!

He sang also Jennifer Hudson's song And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going on his audition but wasn't aired by AGT. The audience, Terry went crazy even more than when he sang Whitney Houston's song. So stranger why AGT hide this moment . Usually contestants sing that powerful song by Jennifer in the finals like Dami Im did on X Factor Australia and she won . U are right, he did not need the sad story. His talent amazing and welcome to the world of Gabriel Henrique. He has so many videos on his youtube page. He just doesn't cover, but some of his covers are better than the original. It is impressive to see and hear a male cover some of the biggest diva vocalist on the planet with comfort and ease. He is fantastic singer.

Firstly you should see him singing “I want to know what love is”. He posted the produced version, they accused him of using auto tune, so he recorded the same song in his car, without a microphone, just with his cell phone, to silence the haters. It was epic! ✨

Não fala inglês. Mas canta em inglês, porque começou a ouvir Whitney e Mariah aos 3 anos. Aprendeu a cantar com elas e como elas. Nunca fez aula de canto, é autodidata.
Foi convidado para participar do AGT 2 vezes e participou esse ano. Também foi convidado para o American Idol a pouco tempo, mas recusou. Porque vai focar em sua carreira, nada de competições.
