according to the JJ2 Q&A on the discord: they signed a contract with apple, making it exclusive to apple arcade. they did look into utilizing Google Play Pass but because of the restrictions regarding how the app could be developed they couldnt do it
When game developers put their game exclusively on Apple Arcade, it’s because they care more about quick money over long term money and fans. And maybe it’s because Apple Arcade games can have more data on them over regular apps, but I kind of doubt that.
