This is the best song on this record. I get the feeling you guys stopped playing it because it isn't as high energy as the others in your set and doesn't get a crowd moving as easily. As a long time fan, this sounds like progression. I hope you guys don't give up on songs like this. It feels like a song you wanted to write.
this isnt nearly their most technical or heaviest or anything but it's become my favorite song they've ever released like that 2 step chorus is too fucking catchy and then the build up at the end into nope not a breakdown but an emotional ass climax. god what a fucking song
"Migrate as you may swallowing your spare key for safekeeping, Wander where you please inside me, You haunt me." Brendan and his fucking stellar lyrics man🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Everything counterparts does is amazing. From jumping ship to this. Its been such a fulfilling journey. Nobody has, IN MY OPINION, prospered and succeeded in creating unique music as much as counterparts has. And they just keep coming with the heavy tunes. Thank you for all you have done so far and for what is to come.
“Priceless possession, I bring you with me wherever I go. Wander through me, rearranging my insides in search of sleep. So well rested, you forget to bring me with you when you leave.” 💔

Well for all that I know Jesse did leave the band, but Kelly was kicked out because he was abusing his ex-girlfriend. I just don't understand why people constantly talk about members who are not on the band anymore on the newer songs.
I mean, I even get that people miss Jesse because he was an awesome songwriter, even tho I think the newer songs are just as good as the oldest, it just has a different feel to it.
I dont want even know about the reason they left the band. But i think Jesse and kelly is the best line up for this band, cause if they still on the band i got the deepest emotional feeling
Its all super well written and good, but theres too much going on. Personally, i think the whole records a bit over saturated. Defo doesnt fuck with hell and home either
This album is garbage. Drumming was as expected, but overall I don’t like this especially for it being only 28 fucking min! The only song that I really like is Rope.
everyone has different opinions and thats great. I think YANYA is an amazing album and I even might say that the final song is probably one of their best yet. What a rollercoaster.
Kush Blazeit Nah that goes to TDBHAH. Had this album been a little longer like they kept it the last albums, this could’ve totally been better than their last. They tried to pull a reign in blood and they failed.

(along with Arms Like Teeth)
Absolutely the best song on the album. Those lyrics hit me like a ton of bricks the first time I ever heard it. Still kinda does...

Its so awesome to be original without changing your genre. Really good job
illneas lol
Holy fuck. I can already predict that all future Counterparts concerts will shake the ground to new levels
Wow this is amazing. Sounds like early 2000's post-hardcore. This song is giving me nostalgia.
"Post-hardcore."
"Migrate as you may
swallowing your spare key for safekeeping,
Wander where you please inside me,
You haunt me."

The verse 'You haunt me like an empty home' makes my chest hurt.
“Priceless possession, I bring you with me wherever I go. Wander through me, rearranging my insides in search of sleep. So well rested, you forget to bring me with you when you leave.”

Alex Tuozzo Dude, You're not Counter Hundredth anymore. Quit fooling yourself.

TheBrothersCA Sounds Like Counterparts to me
Florian Bischoff brendan said that in a interview hehe
Who's this by, then?
You're not Counterparts anymore.
What dont you like about it?
Been a fan of this band since prophets. Still the same band they just evolved
/moan
R.I.P Kelly,
R.I.P Jesse.....
they died?
no, he's left the band for no reason
Well for all that I know Jesse did leave the band, but Kelly was kicked out because he was abusing his ex-girlfriend. I just don't understand why people constantly talk about members who are not on the band anymore on the newer songs.

Lots of unnecessary ear candy guitar work. Good try tho. You're not Jesse anymore
Totally Agree
How can you not like the guitar work???? This is even better than hell and home
its played well but just seems busy and like its just filling up space.
Its all super well written and good, but theres too much going on. Personally, i think the whole records a bit over saturated. Defo doesnt fuck with hell and home either
slice of life oh well, I personally realy like the technical guitar work. Its just up to taste i guess
Yawn
This album is garbage. Drumming was as expected, but overall I don’t like this especially for it being only 28 fucking min! The only song that I really like is Rope.
I could not disagree any more, this album is incredible, probably their best. Please tell me you're trolling.
Jake Riley I’m not at all
Leo how???? This album is the best yet
everyone has different opinions and thats great. I think YANYA is an amazing album and I even might say that the final song is probably one of their best yet. What a rollercoaster.
