I guess I could try, but something about Yink.
Young Link main here: when I'm edge guarding, it can be difficult when not off stage with the opponent, but there have been a few times a sitting bomb right on the edge of the stage, or a good 2 frame hit on edge, can actually set up for any matchup to have that bomb bonk them so far down, it's almost considered a stage spike without YL doing anything afterwards. It's cringe to think about, but it works if done right with enough practice. Bombs are just his ultimate cheat code through any matchup, it's so dumb.
6:35 that was totally deserved. Bro literally uses Neutral B to combo and confirm more than he does for zoning. To be honest all the good Yinks that I've seen use most of his zoning tools as combo starters and extenders more than zoning.
Whoever this is mustve never seen a Yink combo montage or watch the top Yinks in competitive smash.

Young Link from Ocarina also doesn't have a bow (uses a slingshot as a child), bomb arrows, or hookshot. Frankly, this is what I think they did really well in smash for this character. Instead of suiting the game to the character, they adapted the character to suit the game. They borrowed weapons from adult Link in the game to make young Link a more balanced character in smash. Who cares if the character isn't 100% accurate to the original game so long as they're fun in this game while being quasi accurate.
But... Young Link has all that stuff in Majora's Mask

6.02 you can use jump+grab to z drop and short hop jump to the ledge i do it all the time with peach using float cancels to time it perfect.There is a good video by pluto if this helps
Either I don't get your point or you didn't get mine (which I explained poorly tbh). I know how to instantly ledgetrump with my zair to the ledge, but I don't know what to do AFTER the ledgetrump. Should I just drop off and upb?
@@Sillintor i am sorry I didn't understand it at first.For Yl i really don't know if you can ledge tramp with bomb z - drop snap the ledge the opponent gets hit by the bomb and you go from there maybe with dair or bair.In my case with peach i use jump float cancel+zdrop turnip, Opponent gets tramped and hit by the turnip and then i go with bair or dair to side b( depends on percentage). Excuse my bad English explanation and my misunderstanding of the question on 6.02 i hope i helped somehow.

I leave matches sometimes when I’m not even mad. I play games for fun and when I realize my opponents much better I don’t feel like wasting time on the Match. If ima lose that’s fine but at the end of the day I’m playing for fun. Getting comboed for 3 mins isn’t my idea of fun.

@Sillintor I agree it is more iconic, but they gave him fire arrows which he can only use in mm. I feel they could blended several aspects from both OoT and mm. I also feel they did young link a disservice but not giving him the fierce diety transformation as his final smash.

Back air has only 9 frames end lag and neutral air is frame 4. So essentially only 13 frames in between.
For a better perspective, that's the exact time it takes for Young Link's down air to come out.
