I'm glad that it's because of The Tokugawa Shougnate in Japan/Kyoto, The Imjin war ended in the year 1598, which was really sad to see King Seonjo of Joseon take a refugee in Pyongyang, but overall I think It was a really good choice of either nations to not go into the war including The Ming Dynasty. After the Western Army was completely defeated by Tokugawa Ieyasu and his loyal retainters. I know that at that time, it was ruled by The Qing Dynasty from 1644 and onwards.

Where imperial Japan held out The Qing Dynasty territory called Manchuria, who renamed it to Manchukuo.
A lot of people decide which is better but I feel like they both have a different feel, they both are pretty good.
