On this 2nd Sunday of Advent we need to take pause and ask ourselves what are we doing to prepare for the coming of Jesus into our lives and hearts in this most holiest of seasons? What God asks of his people is metanoia, repentance and a complete examination and change of the heart. By making these necessary changes we are able to make room to allow God's grace and the holy spirit the place and space to overflow within each of us. At a time when we are all busy cleaning out our homes, decorating and preparing for Christmas, it is also important to take time to reflect on and re-examine our relationship with God and one another as well. The first step to repentance is humility. God so loved the world that he sent his only son to save us. ✨ So now the question becomes what are we going to do in our lives to honor and thank him for this amazing gift he bestowed upon us. ✨ Through prayer allow God's compassion and forgiveness to free you from your sins and allow you to move forward with a heart full of love, gratitude and peace.🕊️❤️ In Jesus name we pray Amen 🙏
