This song was on Roots Music volume 1. It was a Hawaii-produced compilation of some the pioneers of "Roots Music". They had 2-3 local artists on this album, one of them being ooklah. I still remember the first time I listened to this song and being totally blown away by it. I had never heard anything like this especially from local artists. This 100% started the roots music explosion that happened and is still happening today in Hawaii. Big ups to Ooklah the Moc.
