The floss stick is a great hack Helen. I used to be a beauty therapist and we would just surround the brows with some vaseline to avoid the dye going on those parts of the skin. Also what a great idea using JFM.
Hi Helen, I've been using Just for Men for quite some time now, but I use the Just For Men - Beard and Moustache Dye, it does the same job but it's even quicker and simpler to use than the hair dye Just For Men and it comes with its own little brush ☺️
Hi Helen, I have only recently discovered you and am so glad that I did. I am in my early seventies and love all the tips etc. you have inspired me to rethink Christmas crackers😂. You have a straightforward no bu****it way of presenting that I love. Thank you so much
I really think you're funny ~ the casual comments you make along the way have me lol. The quick, little statements you add about yourself are so genuine and incredibly refreshing. "....he thought I wanted him to dye his hair....as if..." 😆😂 Really enjoy your laughter, too.
Great tip Helen ! I’ve used this before and it has given my fair (grey) eyebrows a new life 😂. You are so naturally funny, that’s why we all keep watching xx
Amazing Helen what a brilliant idea. I have to pencil my eyebrows due to my brows being virtually no existent due to having chemo for breast cancer, it's been 9 years and they have never grown back , my eyelashes are the same, but hey ho I'm so grateful to still be here so I'll just carry on 🤣🤣xxx
You may wish to try permanent makeup for your brows, Denise. It is similar to a tattoo but when don well, looks very natural and obv won't run off the way pencils can. Plus you look good first thing in the morning!
Really great idea! Also your tip on doing the shower doors with a Dishomatic is one of the best tips EVER- doesn’t obviously take a lot anymore to make me grateful 😂😂
I used to use that, but they don't have anything light enough any more. Even the lightest shade looks too dark next to my white hair. It's so simple, and your idea of using the tooth flossing brush for precision is wonderful!
Amazing Helen. Saves using a pencil , my eyebrows are so thin , as when I started working in a hairdressers , many moons ago , I was told to pluck mine , and as it’s the only hair on one’s face , it never grows back . So now I have hardly any 🤷♀️. Luckily I have a long fringe 😂. But I might give it a go , but blonde . I love , all your brilliant ideas . 👍👍J
That's great Helen, such great ideas, and will not only save me money from the amount of eye brow pencils I get through, but save me the daily hassle of applying it. Thanks for the tip.
Helen that is a brilliant idea, and they look so good. They are a lovely shape and you have saved lots of money doing them yourself. I love your channel so well done.
Hi Helen, I do hope you are well. Thanks so much for sharing all your vlogs, the m&s haul was a lovely Christmasy haul, I did like the black velvet style dress on you, it would look lovely teamed with silver shoes or knee length black suede boots but my favourite was the silver dress, stunning on you. I also loved the Christmas cake recipe, it really is a good idea to melt the butter and sugar together to saves creaming them together with a mixer, I will definitely be doing this recipe now, but I don’t have a slow cooker so I will pop it in the oven on low. Keep the Christmas vlogs coming, you are so laid back, I just love watching you with a nice cuppa and my feet up. Loved the personalised crackers too, well done. X
Thank you Helen!! I think I'm going to try that, I have been thinking about it for awhile and now you have given me the confidence to do it. Thank you.
Hi Helen, Another great video, love the way you are so naturally funny, What a great idea to use the T pea brushes. Looking forward to the next one , could listen to you all day xx
Ha ha, I am sitting her doing the same thing, although I look more like Groucho Marx! The Just for Men stuff I have comeS in a tube with a brush attachment. Next time I will use your toothpick idea. The brush slathers the goo all over the place and makeS a huge mess on my face cloths, but it works like a charm. A pharmacy assistant (Canada here) recommended the product to me during covid when I couldn't get to my professional. Now I just do it myself - much cheaper! Love your channel, Helen.
hi helen ,sent a link to my daughter as she is so blonde and does spend the money on her brows, great tip , I take it you can use the rest when needed as I will give it a try myself (go helen,), loving your channel 👍❤, just about to watch your other video you have uploaded
What a brilliant idea! I’m having my fringe cut tomorrow which I keep longer normally because of my dark grey eyebrows, so I will definitely try this, thanks for the tip Helen! 😊x
Hi Helen, iv dyed my eye brows in the last few years and the little tooth cleaner is a great idea ill be using one next time. Thank you for the vlog 😊 😍 😁
Thank you for this, I have often thought this might work but never dared. As I now only have half an eyebrow each side I'll give it a go. Again, many thanks x
Since covid I also tint my eyebrows but use a brow tint kit that I purchased from Amazon. Just love being able to fix my brows or just a little touch up when I want. The only thing I would say is do a test patch with whatever you use just incase you react to the product x
Wow Helen, you have been prolific with videos lately. Great tips for the future should I need to dye my eyebrows. Despite my hair now being silver/white, after deciding to stop dyeing during the first lockdown, my eyebrows have remained dark brown for now at least, but I'll know what to do should they turn white.
Oh this was beyond helpful. I have grey hair also, and my eyebrows seem to disappear. I look goofy! I’m so trying this today. Thanks friend! I’m grateful. You are so clever! Makes me ashamed I’m not using my brain much lately! Lol! I’m so excited to do this. Hooe I don’t mess it up and look like an angry bear! ♥️♥️🤣🤣🤣
How clever ! I don't need dye yet but when I do I will follow your tip. Mine are a little sparse but I'm too scared to have the semi permanent ones a lot of ladies seem to get these days !
Thank you so much Helen. I have been nervous to do this myself but you make it look so easy! I am 62 and have to fill in my brows every morning with pencil as they have faded away so much. I will look for this product in Canada! The dental stick is a very good idea.
What a great idea!!! I have been using a pea size amount of hair dye. I always mix equal amount of colour vs. peroxide (provided in the box).. for years.. I have struggled with finding the best tool for application. It never occurred to me to use those sticks.. I am not sure what they are for but I will look for them. (Canada) Thank you very much!
Amazing ! Even better that you can just use small amounts at a time. I would have thought that once you opened the bottle you had use the lot or throw the remainder away .
Oh how I dream of having hairy eyebrows 😩......although I’ve started using Revitabrow and there is growth.....so fingers crossed 🤞. Those little TeePee’s are also good for declumping (is that even a word 🤷♀️) your mascara if you need to (thanks to Wayne Goss for that tip 👍).
Hi Helen. I have been using the Just Men Beard and Tash dye for years. Does agreat job. I use an old mascara wand to apply. It last ages and so much better coverage on greys than salon eyebrow dye. Thanks
@@Helenmaryjo Hi Helen, I use the same product. Even if my naturel eyebrows are dark, I used the color “blonde” because I have to let the products until 20 minutes (2x10 minutes) on certain coarse withe hairs to have them tinted. Hi Helen. Quick question ... if you dont mind. If you have a fair complexion and you dont mind your hair being grey/white, (like me) how come you want your eyebrows to be brown? Not a criticism at all just curious. Thank you , Nana Karen UK
That's fine. My eyebrows are naturally dark brown, I simply dye the greys to match. There are only a few but I prefer to dye them. Funnily enough I have just done a GRWM, that will be out this week and I mention that in the video. xx
