      We can use "a" before superlative degree to make it's sense as "one of the best"

      Go study adjectives before you speak enghlish anywhere else.
      That's superlative adjective
      And the article "the" is used before the comparative adjective "best".

      Because is a subordinate conjunction and it introduces dependent clause. So sentence which is given by you is complex sentence.

      You can describe it like that...
      There are 4 types of senteces on the basis of classification-
      Classification 1st-assertive,interrogative,imperative,exclamatory and optative
      *classification2*- affirmative,negative,interrogative and negative..
      Lets move to classification 3-according to this we have:simple sen...,modals,tenses,causative, etc...
      Now let's talk about classification4 for that we have: simple sent...,compound sentences and complex sentences...
      So thats how you can give a relevant answer..
