You guys make the best and most informative guides. When I saw how to get legendary armor and weapons I was quite overwhelmed about the large quantity of resources but when I watched your videos its not that complicated to get and your breakdown is amazing. Even though i am not GW2 beginner anymore I watch a lot of guides to this day because there are certain elements of this game that even veterans could miss.
@goatman2957 servers don't really matter much in GW2 , anyone can play with anyone else regardless of server as long as your both on either a NA or EU server
@@Jrocks26 One correction on something that stood out to me. Elementalist (at least Base Elementalist as the Elite Specialization ones don't have this issue) can't switch out weapons like the other classes. The elemental attunements basically took that place. Of course, that's because I started with Elementalist (my first character in 2012 was one).
@goatman2957 yeah just explore and do the story and enjoy the game. When you hit level 80 you can check out some of my guides for Ascended and Legendary equipment, until then you will get decent gear just from doing story and mob drops etc...
helllo man i like ur video but i don´t play this game but i see fun and i don´t have time to try this game but i have one questions about ur background program how u make this one u are in game and u are not in game for real .. i want this program coz i play world of warcrraft pls let me know
guildwars 2 endgame is not geargrind, its buildcraft. one note though, dont just salvage any gear with any salvage kit, Fine Salvage Kit for fine equipment (blue) Journeyman's Salvage Kit for Journeyman equipment and items (green items) Master's Salvage Kit for Master's Equipment (yellow items) if you don't you risk losing value of your items. and always make sure to unpack unindentified gear before you salvage it. if you dont or cant, just sell green ,yellow and orange (exotic) items at the tradingpost.
Great video! I would have touched on masteries, the different types and how to gain mastery points and also the LW seasons and how you can aquire them by converting gold into gems. In fact, that you can grind gold in game and convert to the currency used in the online store is a huge deal for me. Also, I think it can be a bit confusing that there are 9 professions but really its 36 (if you add all 3 elite specs + core) that play very differently.
Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! I was trying to keep the beginners guide to mostly things under level 80; I have a guide coming up about what to do after level 80 that will include masteries and LW etc
Tiny little thing to I want to bring up when it comes to choosing your race in guild wars 2. If you start playing one for a really long time, like I have since I play a lot of charr.. You might find it feels weird when you do jumping puzzles as a smaller character. This has legit happened to me. I played charr for so long, that when I created an asura character I was failing jumping puzzles, because the height and size difference was throwing me off. If this ever happens to you, just go to a place like Divinity's reach and jump from building to building. The lack of pressure from the jumping puzzle will let you get accustomed to playing on a smaller character. Over enough time, you'll become a master of doing jumping puzzles on large and small characters.
Hey thanks! We do have a guild in game; we are fairly casual but do run fractals, strikes, WvW ect... Feel free to join the discord and we can get you in if you want 👍
Really well produced guide. I'm just now starting out, and this was super helpful. Thanks for making it! Quick question, what do your hot keys look like? I know you mentioned a few in the video, but did you change any other keys? Just trying to make it so my fingers don't have to travel far for skills 😅
99%! Either I missed something, or you missed dodge/evade? Other than that, really excellent video covering just about everything you need to know as a new player.
After years i came back to the game and im relearning right now. Just finished the main story of the base game and I have to say im glad that its over. Good rewards but god that was a long and bothersome chore. Ive heard the expansions are a lot better so looking forward to those.
I'm not new to GW2 but I still watched the video. Excellent work Jrock
Thanks, much appreciated ❤️
This is such underrated content! This will definitely gather millions of views!
Thanks! I really appreciate it! ❤️

@goatman2957 servers don't really matter much in GW2 , anyone can play with anyone else regardless of server as long as your both on either a NA or EU server

Awesome, great game. Enjoy!
@@Jrocks26 so do i have to just follow the story line/complete achievements and I'll get good gears eventually?
@goatman2957 yeah just explore and do the story and enjoy the game. When you hit level 80 you can check out some of my guides for Ascended and Legendary equipment, until then you will get decent gear just from doing story and mob drops etc...

I personally use Q for heal, E,R,T for skills 7-9, and SHIFT + Q for the elite skill 0. I have big hands, and with that everything is in range for me.
Great video
Thanks bro!
Great vid Jrocks but it needs more Divinity :)
Lol, one day she'll make it in 😆
I want to hear more about the nooks and crannies

Got one! 😆 🤣
Got one 😆 🤣

definatly not an ultimate guide, Id say a guide to MMOs and how to use WASD to move.
cringe let this game die
Valid video
Thanks!
