Sunday Afternoon Routine

Isn't it funny the way we change and the things we say we will never do. As a young woman, early in my career, working ridiculous hours pre-kids to try and further my career as much as possible before starting a family, my weekends were so precious, and I couldn't fathom spending them cooking.
It was the days of double income, and no kids. We could just buy take out if we wanted because what budget? And unfortunately, health was not a top priority.
Now I am an avid weekly meal prepper. And it's not because my weekends are no longer precious and it's not because life is more cruisey with kids, but it is because meal prep is not a burden, it is actually a tool that helps make our life stress-free and more enjoyable!
