Yeah, basically the game is saying this guy's daughter died. He kidnapped someone close enough, but she didn't have the exact facial features/face, so he masked her. Tried to believe it was her but just couldn't see it, so he killed her.
That's actually a cool ass story. Gotta love how creepy it is and how with every scene back to reality you can see the small hints thinking he's hallucinating and delusional but then he's actually just delusional and kidnapped someone.

Back when i was in 6th grade there was a comic drawing competition for who could draw the best comic that was about climate change. Me, being the class artist, told the teacher that I wanted to submit a drawing to make my class win. We didn't win but the name of the comic was Sopor mannen, which translates to garbage man in Swedish. The last story really reminded me of that
